I've been wondering for a very long time why during a skirmish in red alert 1, does the Al players always build some kennels but then never uses them to train Attack Dogs or, in my case, Chitzkoi. I am pretty sure that this is just the same problem so similar to the submarine/boat problems, the GNRL problem for me and select others (if you use the GNRL for a commando or sniper), and super weapons most of the time. If there is a way to fix this or if it is something that cannot be fixed or dealt with like the other problems listed above, I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Been using a really cool icon for my commando and thought it'd be cool to share with all of you guys and see what you think and for you guys to use if you so desire. Been using this for red alert 1 but it also could be used in Tiberium Dawn.

You can absolutely use shp editor for Ra cameo and shp files. If you want to use the xcc mixer to extract some of the shp files in the mix files, you can open those with the shp program. You might not be able to save all of them directly as a .shp and it will sometimes only say "save as type: All files" and it will be saved as a .file extension. It is still an shp file and open it with the shp editor and you will be able to use them. There is also a help tool in the program with tutorials and stuff to explain the different kind of tools available at your disposal. If you have any more questions or need anymore help please do not hesitate to ask me. I am more than happy to help you as I have learned to use this program myself and enough that I can confidently say that I feel comfortable enough to give advice and/or help with this application. I have decided to upload a zip file containing all you need to make an icon for a couple C&C games. Enjoy! I recently stumbled upon an actual website for the mapdb and when I was scrolling through the maps I came across a map titled "m3 the penis". I know that the creator was being childish when he or she did it but seeing as we have rules about inappropriate language and subject matter I felt as if it was my responsibility and duty to report it since it was inappropriately made. It said the "hash" is : Hash: bde6476f8bdecdc14cac9864e37c166d560c3751 For those who do not know, the hash is basically representing the /map command for the cncnet application. I'm not entirely sure if this is an issue that is able to be resolved or even dealt with if possible but I am still unsure who, if anyone, has the authority to ban the map from cncnet. I want to try and edit a defense map for it to be like survival endless. I was doing that with the map I posted in my topic "can't open the map I created". How would I be able to accomplish this without the map not been able to open ever again after I close it and how could do this without the map failing for whatever reason?

Al already uses and builds are troops when it has the airfield and/or helipad. Currently is unknown how and if it can be done for Al to build marines, best way to use them is to have an Al player have a constant loop of marine reinforcements for a trigger type if you wanna have the Al use marines when battling against you. Only ways to have the Al use nuclear weapons if they collect a crate which gives them a one shot nuke strike or to change that so the crate gives an unlimited amount of shots or to have a map where a missile silo is already built for Al player(s). at 11:03 PM, which is about an hour and nineteen minutes ago as of this typing, I recreated a zombie defense map in cave template to give myself an extra challenge. I saved frequently to return if I made a mistake. FYI I had chosen the RA1MPLauncher and selected skirmish so I could have a bigger access to maps and access the maps I had newly acquired. After playing around with some zombie defense maps I recreated one and made additions. Once everything was complete to my liking I saved a final time and closed it so I could test it out on the RA1MPLauncher skirmish feature. I could not find it after doing several things to try and locate it and when I finally decided to go locate it in the spot that I had saved it in, in the file explorer, I double-clicked on the scenario I made but it said file not found error 1, even though I had it open 10 minutes ago. I really need to why this is happening because all the hard work seems to be gone that I went through making it. cavezombie54488434.mpr

i have identical settings for all the ini files so I have the same raised limits in the rules.ini as I do with the spawn.xdp. Can the xdp files be added as a supported file type to post because I have a hell of a time trying to convert a copy of my regular so I don't wreck the original. As well as the dmp files. ill prove it: spawn.ini rules.ini

Oh and before I forget, is there a particular page on the forums where its main purpose is to post crash dmp files players receive?

I actually have a similar problem when I skirmish with Al's in ra1. it happens when I play against at least 4-7 computers and what happens is that after about 4-10+ minutes pass in game time, I will try to build something or train something and it will say building or training, but it doesn't train or build. What's weird is that it does not say unable to build more but I don't get the timer thing on the icon to show me how long until its finished training or building. So I am stuck with what I have previously built or trained, however, even though this is happening to me the computers are somehow able to continue on building more things and training more units. Only after I clear enough of the enemy's things does it let me temporarily let me build more unless its close to the end of the game in which it is permanent. I actually have a YouTube video on my channel where I battle against computers in a FFA match and the bug, glitch or whatever you wanna call it happens at around 2-3 minutes into the video. Where to find the infantry sprites in the files?

all I see no matter what I do is black images and black images files when I should be getting either the icon for the unit or the picture on the unit on a terrain. I don't know how to fix this and I have the same problem with these files for tiberium dawn -
Need help decoding this crash file. I had to create a duplicate so I could change the file type because cncnet site said that the dmp file types aren't supported so I can't post them. Well at least that they can't be uploaded anymore apparently. Change the file extension back to .dmp so you can help me crack the code of this file. ra95crash-0x0050546d - Copy.rar

I also think right click and hold on the tile allows you to drag it around if I'm not mistaken. -
I know exactly what your talking about and this isn't the only game it happens to. It also happened to me back when I was playing Tiberium Dawn in full screen. So maybe not playing in full screen should help but if not then idk what to tell you.

One thing that I hate is that the Al's units and infantry always get cramped and crowded into their own base and I always end up having to chronoshift their units to get that team playing some more.

I don't know if this is the correct place to put this but idk where else to post this. I've recently finished my customized unit for my red alert 1 skirmishing experiments and its been done for awhile now, however, the problem is, is that I cannot get any of the Al's I'm battling against to built it. the time it has appeared is in the custom missions when the original unit is already there. Here is what I have for my custom unit: [GNRL] Image=RMBO Name=Commando Prerequisite=none Primary=Sniper Secondary=Sniper Strength=30000 Armor=concrete TechLevel=1 Sight=10 Speed=8 Owner=allies,soviet Cost=0 Points=25 SelfHealing=yes Burst=5 Crushable=no DoubleOwned=yes Keep in mind that this is the code I have put in not only for the original rules.ini file, but also the spawn.xdp or whatever its called (I forgot), the spawnam.xdp and the aftermath.ini file. No matter what I try I end up being the only one that can manufacture this customized unit. It was fun using for the impossible missions but I need to have the computer players to be able to build it. Also, if your wondering why on earth I would customize my unit like I did, its because I have changed the recharge time for the paratrooper to 0.001, resulting in the Al's being able to send out a constant infinite supply of these at an instant pace until their airfield(s) are destroyed. I wasn't able to put the 2 xdp files because they were not a supported file type to post and I cant change it to an ini file temporarily for some reason. If nobody can figure it out its fine but I just wanted to see if anyone knew how to do it. rules.ini aftrmath.ini
