Pre-load Red alert?

Is there a way to pre-load red alert before starting a match?

 

I have a laptop that cant get into the game fast enough before the 25 second connection timer elapses.

 

Alternatively, is there a way to raise that? It doesn't lag in game, just can't load large maps fast enough (the tiny installation maps load)

I would also like to know this, as sometimes my computer seems to simply decide not to actually load for the game for over a minuet (it actually isn't even loading the game... it just sits, and then suddenly opens it). Pre-loading would be a great way to get around that.

it would be possible to raise it, but that wouldnt help at all since people have no patience and would press ESC. In the old lobby the timer was set to 125 and people always left when the timer reached 100, that was kinda the unofficial rule there since everyone knew after 25 sec it would not connect anyways

 

game starts can be delayed by bad anti-virus programs and firewalls, try to turn that software off completely and do some tests

Are you with UAC enabled? because it sometimes slow down a program startup.

Pichorra... I don't think you can disable it in win7. It's kind of a basic part of the system security.
