Command & Conquer 3: Tiberian Dawn Mod Lives!

Anyone remember how a team wanted to create a mod for Command & Conquer 3 to drop it into the Tiberian Dawn universe?

I just had the privilege of playing this mod, and I gotta say, it's a worthy first effort.

 

The problem is it's not quite finished, and powers that be really want to get it done, but they need help.

 

A studio called "War Studio," which also works on Renegade II, is stepping up to help finish the job, but they need reinforcements.

 

I can't code or draw much, but you know me-I can provide technical and military insight, and the studio, "War Studio," just recruited me.

 

So, if anyone can help see this mod to its next step, by all means, contact War Studio on ModDB, and let's see if we can't jumpstart this thing.

I installed and played this for a little while just now - nice mod. Clearly a lot of work has been put into this and it has a lot of potential. A 'full version' was released earlier this month, but to me a RTS mod isn't complete without a campaign (hence the inverted commas). That aside, it looks and sounds like the original Tiberian Dawn. The 'feel' isn't quite there yet though. Here's a recent video of it (not my video):

Interesting coincidence considering I started working on Tiberian Dawn Redux again over the past year thinking it was gonna be the only TD themed mod still alive on SAGE. I'd give them a hand if I didn't have a heavy workload with real life and knew C&C3 a bit better.

Oh, that's really cool to see that this mod ISN'T dead... in fact, I was just thinking about how it was sad that this mod is dead, only a few minutes ago xD

I'd be happy to help then with balance, but I don't know much more than that about hacking C&C3

Seeee EA, the community can do this, itself. No need for them to "remaster" TD.

No need for that peptition either.
