Nemesis, Armageddon, and More!

So Im new here. I suppose a retired RA mod creator and mission/campaign creator. I still have some old projects and I thought I could share them with the community here. 1st, I have the tiberium trilogy mod series I made in high school. Tiberium Wars, Tiberium Destiny, and the acclaimed Armageddon. I suppose looking back they're nothing to spectacular anymore, but hey, I had fun doing it. They were true total conversions, I changed everything Red Alert would allow me to change. I Also have a mod called Wars Extreme. pretty much C&C95 with a few added things. And then I have Nemesis, this is a bit more complicated. I have been randomly working on this on and off for about 4 years... yeah. Its a mission campaign that makes the transition from RA to C&C95 (omitting RA2 and all that BS). The campaign also includes new graphics and sounds. The missions are all highly detailed, im a bit OCD with them. To this day it is not complete. I would love to finish though, now that I know there are still people out there who might play and enjoy it. We'll see. Last I checked all the missions were functioning and you could play straight through. You can get my mods and Nemesis by clicking the link below. Give em a try, and be sure to give some feedback ;)

Well this might be a large post. Got some screens. Also discovered I made some modifications to Armageddon for my own benefit after the final public release. At some point I apparently added an imperial star destroyer although I dont seem to remember doing it. Seems I managed to fix the AI a bit, they make large bases and a lot of units. Replaced a few units, small things. SO that final FINAL version has been uploaded with the link above. And I also at some point renamed Nemesis to "Command & Conquer Rising", says the title screen. 1st to screens are from C&C Rising. Rest are from Armageddon.

goodly-cheese there is no such thing as a mammoth tank in Dune 2000, you are thinking of the Harkonnen Devastator.

I remember playing C&C Armageddon a long time ago, it's looking good! Just remember to use the edit button more ROB :P

Sweet, I made front page news lol. I tested Wars Extreme and I think I want to update it. 1st of all it randomly crashes... I think I'll remake and organize the mix files with XCC, RA-Mix wont work for me anymore. It it seems very unfair for GDI starting with 6 mammoth tanks and Nod staring with 4 light tanks. Some buildings dont have shadows, and some cameos bleed through. Other than that it seemed enjoyable to me. Like I said earlier its basically C&C95 but added ion based weapons for GDI, bracnhed from the "Ion research Lab" and chemical and laser weapons for Nod. So hopefully I'll have that up and running shortly.

  • 6 years later...

Since I keep loosing my mod files for the thing I was working on, I'm gonna update this old Armageddon mod originally released in 2002 or something. There was always more I wanted to do and I've learned a lot since then. There probably is a lot to fix up and red Alert has also been updated since then so I'll make it fully compatible with the modern release. It was always a a sci-fi kinda mod so i'll try to keep it like that. Id like to make missions also or at least modify the campaign for compatibility. We will see how this goes.

So, This is actually gonna happen this time and I'm calling it- Armageddon V: The Aftermath. I been around here the last few years saying I been working on big projects and did not follow through. once because Arda was abandoned and the 2nd time my mod folder got deleted accidentally. RL things were shaky at best but I think things have settled down finally and I can devote time to finish a project. I've already rebuilt most of the mod framework and finished initial SHP editing/touchups. The storyline this time around is that, after Armageddon 4 Mod (13 years ago) GDI/Nod alliance eventually defeated the Scrin and they left, apparently. But... an "influence" was left behind with Nod extremists who now carry out a new war for some TBD Scrin agenda. GDI military is more traditional while Nod has more "Sci-Fi" features/technology left over from the Scrin war.

Anyone willing to beta test?

Missions are also planned, full campaigns for both sides to fully explore the storyline.

Mod Background Info:

Tiberium Wars Mod was 1st in storyline, released in 2002. MP only. Shortly after part 2 was released called Tiberium Destiny. In 2003, Tiberium Wars 3: Armageddon was released. It was upgraded to version 4 soon-after and simply became "Armageddon 4" and I don't even remember the difference anymore. So here we are in 2016 working on Armageddon V... wow

I might replay the campaign when it's done.

Would you want to test a few at a time as I make them? You could be a beta tester before final release. Should be starting missions this weekend.
