CnC # Serial Key In Use Steam

Hello Everyone,

 

So my 7 year old son and I are attempting to play CNC3 Tiberium Wars with the Tiberium Essence Mod over our local Network and We keep getting the Serial key in use Error when attempting to join each other's created game on LAN.

1) Our Serial keys Are different.

2) I have investigated changing the key in regedit. No Dice.

3) I have deleted the ergc in regedit and had steam valid files. Files validate, errors contniue.

4) Running windows 10, 64bit. (Game looks great by the way)

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you both running the game as administrator? Could be a permissions issue that isn't letting the game write or read the serial key.
