  2. Hello - unfortunately you would need Yuri's Revenge installed to play our RA2 mode. If it is just RA2 you are after, xwis is available to play ra2 online.

  4. White screen usually indicates a driver issue (possibly). Double check you've got the right drivers installed?
  5. It's no longer sustainable to be maintaining/supporting legacy services, it's costs and time that can be served towards newer features in CnCNet 5. Anyone using CnCNet 4 such as Mods, have had months of notice/adequate time in the IRC chat to move over to CnCNet 5 (Or are in the process of doing so). The renegade-listing can be transferred and hosted by a third party, whoever wishes to host can contact as per original post details.
  6. You could play in windowed mode? There should be an option in the client options to set as windowed.

    Hello, I've split your post into a separate topic. Please upload your cncnetclient.log file to this topic. You can find this file in your game directory where CnCNet is installed.
  12. Can you check what renderer you have set in client options? What is your location? UK, USA?
  13. Which client are you using (or which game are you trying to play)? I suspect... you're trying to play Yuri's Revenge? If so, make sure at the top right you click "Followed Games", and ensure Yuri's Revenge is checked as green. If this was the issue, is this your first time on CnCNet?

    Has your sister also installed CnCNet via the installer, or was it copied over from a zip or hardrive? - Make sure the game is installed, and then CnCNet is installed after using the installer at https://cncnet.org/yuris-revenge - Make sure in your sisters client options, under Display, it shows ts-ddraw.

  19. Three things to try. 1. Set your game resolution in the cncnet client options under display, to the same resolution as your desktop. E.g if your desktop was 800x600, you would set the same in the client options. 2. Ensure your video drivers are up-to-date. (This is most likely the issue). 3. Delete RA2MD.ini file found in your Red Alert 2 game directory (E.g program files > Red Alert 2).

  21. I believe, on CnCNet YR that's not possible right now. Normally though, you should be able to either right click the game and run as Windowed, or you run the game via -win parameter (can't remember which).
  22. I would strongly advise contacting GameSurge and letting us know how you get on. They should be able to give you more info on why you can't connect.
  23. Give it a try, technically there shouldn't be anything else blocking it.
  24. It usually takes 3-4 seconds to load the lobby after that screenshot you showed. If on the other hand it didn't load anything else past that, and it happens again, please upload your cncnetclient.log file to this topic. Thanks
  25. Most likely, yes. If it blocks unknown applications (which this will be) it will cause an issue. Is there a way of allowing an exception?
