Almost no one uses Win98 anymore, thats why Nyer is making it run on newer computers and thats the point, letting the classics work on newer systems... and "everyone" knows that C&C1 was written for DOS and ported later to Win95. and the pack you uploaded is obsolete and was created by Nyerguds as far as I can remember....

There are a few games on Wchat, not many though. In CnCNet there are at least 5-10 people online at the same time on normal days, and in good days in the weekends/holidays there can be up to 60 players online. You are looking at it......I don't know of any other active C&C communities which focuses on the classics. There is always Command & Conquer Meets Star Wars it isn't very active though and doesn't work on the 1.06 patches. (as far as I can remember)

I think C&C1 is as good as it is, it needs no changes. People say the GDI has an advantage and people say Nod has an advantage, it depends on how you use the factions. If you want a "balance patch" make it yourself or play some of the newer games....

Well, I like how C&C1 is now...and I think Nyer will not balance the game in anyway if he makes a 1.06c. I agree on some of the points you made, I will explain more about that tomorrow since I'm tired right now.

The visceroids are not hidden in C&C1, you see them in multiplayer.

You will need to convert the commando from C&C1 pallet to RA pallet. I don't remember how to do this.

Good luck finding them, Westwood doesn't exist anymore and there is only a few ex-Westwood guys at EALA.
