For streaming?

Sure. I assume you still actually believe that's true for the C&C1 and RA1 mods?

The reaction to anyone trying anything even slightly resembling "strategy" in RA1: "Build More Tanks"

Look... "Why is feature X not in it?" is not a friendly way of asking such a thing. It sounds like "get off your asses you lazy bastards, this should've been in it ages ago." We all have our own reasons for doing what we do, and my own reasons never, ever included multiplayer. I care a lot more about figuring out the game than figuring out other people playing it. This whole CnCNet community started more or less by accident when I decided it would be fun to include Myg's peer-to-peer "internet play over the game's LAN function" tool in one of my early C&C95 patch releases, and look where we are now. Sometimes I'm honestly not sure whether to be happy for its success or sad that our happy little C&C1 forum with a bit of RA1 on the side has been flooded with Red Alert 1 online players and converted to this CnCNet thing. On the rare occasions that I play online, it's to do silly things like the Mobile HQ and Capture The Flag modes in C&C1, without even caring if I win or lose. Actually finding out about the utter disgrace of an excuse of a map that is P4 disgusted me to the core; it's a slap in the face of every Westwood graphics artist who made the beautiful terrain graphics in these games. And now the whole place is starting to cater to freaks who seem to play that kind of stuff without ever even stopping to experience the single player campaign. And then you come here practically demanding a ladder. No, worse, you come here finding it such an obvious thing you chastise us for not already having made it. Think about that for a minute, will you?

Marquee doesn't actually help with clicking it. It keeps moving around!

wat. I believe you mean megabytes?

Aren't "locked" games just those that are already started?

I've seen an enemy snake a line of MGG's towards the enemy base to protect his units from air attacks. It worked pretty well.

Manu's easter special - it is square conquering time!
Nyerguds replied to Pat_Pas's topic in C&C Multiplayer Maps
Actually, the real problem is that, from what I know, the visceroids will most likely be so singlemindedly focused on that top player that they never actually attack anything else. -
The technicians are excluded from the logic, though.

Are you under the mistaken impression anyone is getting paid for this, then? That kind of stuff requires commitment slightly beyond a couple of fans doing it in their free time.

What is this "C7C"?

Um. The link is literally just above your post. What help could you possibly need with clicking a link?

Suggestions and feedback needed for the Yuri's Revenge CnCNet 5 client

Screen resolutions larger than the map size will ALWAYS cause problems, in ANY C&C game. I don't see why you'd even want that. -

Ohh. They're WALLS. They looked kinda like roads on the thumbnail :-\ Visceroids (or, any neutral armed unit) on MP maps are a bad idea though, since they'll just try to attack the most northern player, and in case of this map, just hug the top wall trying to reach that north player. -

that looks weird... can you post real pictures of those? -
Haaahahaha! Oh, wow. I didn't even notice that. You actually posted that in a Zero Hour forum and expect the games besides Zero Hour to get a fair chance? xD

[FOUND] where to get tiberian sun spanish videos / spanish isos
Nyerguds replied to atesin's topic in Tiberian Sun
You can just use the command prompt to join such files. The basic syntax is "copy /b file1 + file2 + file3 finalfile" -
Heh. That might be possible, actually... it's just a matter of feeding the coordinates of the center of the unit into the weapon range checks rather than the coordinates of the turret. But, yeah, not really sure where that stuff is in the code.

This isn't about the actual "Rock-Paper-Scissors" game, ehy. Don't be dumb about this. It just happens to be referred to that way
-
Um. "Rock-Paper-Scissors", as applied to balance, isn't about luck at all, it's about all weapons having specific counters which in turn are weak against yet other weapons.
