  1. After the next 5 years it'll be a killer party
  2. It looks very bland, but the overall shape looks good.
  3. What did the rescue logic do again? Order civilians to enter a friendly transport?
  4. The carrier has no frames for facing different directions. It is supposed to look like that.
  5. Haha, some frames look like as if he stabs someone behind him
  6. Honestly, you only think it has anything of C&C just because Petroglyph makes it... IMO it looks a lot more like World in Conflict, which is definitely a good thing. The music sounds awesome, as expected (I presume Frank's composing?), and 51 players on one map?! I assume it's more C&C4-like with only a few units per player?
  7. And what a bump @_@ He's asking for ban.
  8. There was a multiplayer map with ants? Where? Tell me! Offtopic: Red Alert has a gazillion multimaps, has anyone ever tried them all?
  9. Ah, the good ol' ra-afraid.org. I remember downloading and reading all kinds of stuff there a long time ago
  10. Seriously, why would anyone want to play on that tiny resolution?
  11. No I've seen it, but I can't remember where it's from.
  12. C&C4 is not the only C&C game EA produced, you know...and in my opinion, the rest are not half-bad at all.
  13. You simply can't produce 10 games with the exact same formula without the last games ultimately becoming boring and repeative. The SAGE engine plays really well, Generals may be different but ultimately it is just another branch inside the C&C saga. C&C4 tried to change the formula once more, but instead of becoming succesful like Generals, it failed miserably (or that is the impression I've been given, I propably never will actually play the game).
  14. Sorry guys, I've had to put this pack on hold, I'm extremely busy with a couple of tasks related to postgraduate studies.
  15. Generals is definitely more C&C than C&C4 is. The switch to workers, bottom bar and different resource system was a change but a successful one. Both Gen and ZH offer a lot of enjoyable multiplayer games (though sometimes I think it all happens too fast ) We're derailing again...
  16. Possibly to increase the range of the flamethrower infantry. It would look odd if it was given the classic flame animation but kept its current range. However if they had made a longer flame, it would have been odd again since infantry could only face and fire at 8 directions. Think about a situation when the flames don't seem to touch the target but still cause damage....
  17. I'd be laughing if they added those via patches.
  18. I don't think a Shock Trooper needs a gas mask. He doesn't wield a weapon that emits immense heat and gasses Instead, he should definitely wear a rubbersuit
  19. I agree about the ore and gems. I doubt they would have had the resources and time to develop a completely new resource system, but instead of spreading all over, the ore should stick to a limited area and that area only. Gigantic golden rocks and brightly colourful gems should definitely have been replaced with something more realistic, though. Not forgeting miners that look like combines  That's not necessarily a bad thing. It would be strange if video conversations were used everywhere in the 1950s Plus, none of the covert operations had FMV intros, unlike some Aftermath and secret ant missions in Retaliation. Though these are not the only things that require(d) fixing in Red Alert: For example, the ugly resized infantry in windows version and grenades with wrong warhead explosion. It's also absurd that while Red Alert terrain affects unit speed in a realistic way, it makes wheeled units, such as costly Ranger, less effective on anything but roads than their TD (Hum-vee/Buggy) counterpart. It's wacky to see the usually-so-slow convoy truck speed up to 100mph on dirt roads
  20. First it was Tiberium Sun, and now it's Trib Sun? As in, Acid Trip sun?
