  1. If people want to, I can post an updated version of my map, with "correct" starting spots and maybe with less roads.
  2. LOL, I knew that land rush idea would fail XD
  3. Maybe, just maybe, you could've waited until your "secret was done, instead of posting this now, no?
  4. ...and like everybody knows, Westwood Pacific had nothing to do with Westwood (Vegas), the game studio that produced games from C&C1 to FS.
  5. Yeah, well, I wouldn't mind if the mechs weren't that bulky and box-like...and yeah, they seem to be mechs just for the heck of it. I wonder why there's Titans from KW and some crappy-ass version of Mammoth Mark II...
  6. Yeah, each of those pics are from the beta stages of C&C1. They are, but AFAIK, the multiplayer feature came later, in C&C GOLD, and before that, the units weren't available in any of the C&C missions. Btw, chem warrior having the bio-research facility as prerequisite structure makes sense, it had a buildup in the mix files, IIRC. So....the SSM was supposed to be a GDI unit? O_o
  7. I remember playing that WoD mission a while back. Great map, I must say
  8. Good animation! Though the craft should slow down more when landing, so it's as smooth as possible.
  9. Where's Irony and his map? I think we need 3 people at least.
  10. About mods...there's a project going on, with slow progress (but progress nontheless!), called C&C Xtended, which I'm also part of as a mapper.
  11. Good, we should be getting two more entries from Irony and Aro (PPM).
  12. I never wanted a competition without contest My map still qualifies, right? Btw, I'll spread the word.
  13. Do I have any use for this when I've got TFD?
  14. Oh man, why do these competitions always end up so small...
  15. *choke* Holy...*cough*...a cactus?! No way!
  16. Thanks to DOSBox (and DOSShell, much easier to use), I've been able to play a few very old games I've been enthusiastic to since childhood
  17. For my mapping competition entry, I used scm47ea.

    wtf, a cheater?

I remember how I used to capture enemy taskforces inside a barrier of concrete walls. Because the units would always move along the same waypoints, I built BRIKs around one of these spots, and closed the trap once the units stepped on it XD I have no idea why the enemy never attacked the walls, though.

    wtf, a cheater?

I merely use this unintended flaw in order to leave some space between my buildings. Kind of like replacing the missing Adjacency feature introduced in RA.
