  1. Yes... as I said, or was hinting to. Kilk has one, it's in his mod. The Japanese faction uses it.
  2. If you ask Kilk really nicely he might be able to provide.
  3. Stuff like the dam is obviously cool... but just look at how well crafted those icy rocks are in the top left O.O DAMN BOY! Well played.
  4. It's actually a pretty good job, I mean once it's built up it looks just fine. Yeah, OK, the tower is obviously the AGT, but still, it fits together nicely. Yeah, about the build up; I always found it easier to draw the frames in reverse. So go from the fully formed structure and make it pack back down into the ground frame by frame.
  5. Found this. It's awesome. Enjoy. http://printed-armies.com/ Temple and comm centre here: https://www.facebook.com/CNCRenX/posts/10154635540782431
  6. Hello author of the post. I loved this is mod, and now I want to continue your business (started doing translation to your mod). And so I can come up with a mission specifically for this mod. I'll try to do something with music. For there is only one music for all mod. That sounds cool. Yes, I'd planned to have a few tracks, but the composer decided to just do the one track... which was fine considering that he was working for free and the track he made was amazing. I'd very much like to see any mission that you could cook up for it. You saw how the resources worked in the specific C&C:CR maps, yes?
  7. Love it man, all this stuff looks absolutely TOPS! You've really nailed that 'nostalgia' feel, even on your new structures; well done
  8. Well, I'd probably cast games if I could just spectate. But I'd do 1v1 games, as they're more paced and you can break them down in a more interesting way. Still, I think people got the wrong end of the stick with this one. I'm not controlling my opponent, just myself. Unless I do game settings, but that's different.
  9. Jacko: Yeah, that sounds doable and kinda interesting. Ferret: Fuck you, hahahahaha
  10. Yeah, for sure. Some challenges would be impossible. Like MRLS only. I think there could be some that might make for interesting game, though. Maybe I should come up with some challenges that I think I could maybe pull off and then make videos for them, IDK. It depends upon opponents, also.
  11. So, with these ones I'll have to find an opponent willing to play the restrictions as well, hm, I'd been more leaning towards doing it almost secretly. So like, I'm doing something but my opponent doesn't know that I'm doing it. etc These could be cool to. I haven't tried many of them before, so I'm pretty much keen for anything xD
  12. Yes, I've played like this before It's more or less the same, but you can either gamble by going strait into refs, or try and do a more early pressure. It can make for some hectic games, though xD For the crate one, are you talking about the special crate maps? It's certainly trickier if I have to convince my opponent to do stuff too, haha. But maybe I could talk Ferret into it! xD
  13. So, as many of you are aware, I've been recording games with live commentary and uploading them to youtube for your viewing pleasure. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChP7vg2NdZ6piIo_VMw-ilQ I've been thinking of expanding the idea a bit, bringing a bit more community interaction to the channel. The idea is that people can post their idea for a video; things like: -A strategy -Game settings -A challenge Just whatever people can think up. I think it'd be funny, if nothing else. Feel free to post any thoughts below. If I get enough good ideas, I'll write them up onto paper and put them into a hat and draw stuff out at random! GLHF commander!
  14. I'm not 100% sure why Ferret didn't go for more rocket troops to defend his base. There was quite a few with his army, but if you go 100% making rocket men, they're easily countered by grenadiers. Rocket troops have low HP, are VERY slow and 300 each (very expensive for what you get). Some around his most important structures may have at least allowed him to hold on a lot more that game... but if you change your play, who knows what would have happened. The game against my on Iron Valley where I surrender. Yeah, I'm out of money. In fact, I didn't notice during the game, but if you look at the bottom left tiberium patch (the last patch that I expand my base to), the placement of the 3 helipads and barracks actually cut my harvester off from being able to harvest there and go strait back to the refinery, forcing him to go the VERY long way (that probably hurt me a LOT).
  15. My latest creation! It's hard to say what tactics each person might choose on a map like this! I don't think we really have many others like it. It's inspired by the SCII ladder map "Terraform LE" and takes notes from Manu's "Circle of Death" also. For the release of the map, I've also done a triple drop of videos to my channel of me and Ferret having games on it. Downloads for the map and links to the videos can be found at the bottom. Game 1 - Multi-prong Mammoth Macro!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqj5Pv6eYtc&feature=youtu.be Game 2 - Pixel Perfect Defence!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcOWmkqVx2Q&feature=youtu.be Game 3 - Is that a drop?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJT7qfKKo-I&feature=youtu.be whtquarry.rar
  16. Not sure exactly which games these are. If you post up links, I'd be happy to analyse them!
  17. Yeah, unfortunately, even if you scout the apaches they are REALLY hard to stop. And when I say scout them, I mean, see the harvester leave the enemy base in a fishy way. If you've gone bar/HoN, 2xref into WF/strip, you need to cancel the strip, and build 2 more bar/HoN and pump rocket men... Even then, if the harvs squashes too many guys or even soaks up too much rocket fire, the apaches can still kill the con yard. You'll surely get many wins with this, but it obviously means short games... Personally I don't get much out of a win unless I feel like I earn it. But each to their own, I guess This sort of stuff is the reason that a TD ladder would be useless.
  18. Yes, we've tried to do this also. What you get is basically what you get. If you wanted to change it so that it simply blasts something with napalm, you could design a lock on missile which has the same explosion type as the napalm bomblet.
  19. I fukn love that video Ferret, it's bloody great xD
  20. I'd actually really like to see Jacko try to tackle some of those TD for Pros missions. Would be good stuff
  21. I've been playing this game for about 15 years and still have some issues with those missions. Even Day(9) has spoken of how difficult Blindsided is, and he was a professional Brood War player, who, at one time was the fasted non Korean player; obliviously a different game, but still, a lot of skills that you'd think would cross over. Well done on getting through all of them!
  22. Ahhh, haha. That makes more sense. I'm quite a fan of your play through of TD actually. You did really well with some seriously tough missions
  23. Oh... I've been around for a while... just maybe, 10 years or so xD My old nick was just "White".
  24. I put this into the TD game folder, but thought it might also get some attention here and maybe even bring some new players in to old school, classic (the original! ) Command & Conquer. So I've finally started a Youtube channel and am putting up some games with live commentary as I play through them. I explain the plays, as they happen and give an analysis at the end, to help newbies get a better grasp on the game! There's some up already, I'll try and put up one video every day. I try not to upload just everything and stick with the more interesting games, for your viewing pleasure! If you enjoy the videos, remember to like and subscribe to the channel. It does actually help. GLHF commander! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChP7vg2NdZ6piIo_VMw-ilQ
  25. I'm gonna see if I can upload one a day. Should hopefully keep people interested. Maybe you can watch it when your having your dinner or something, haha.
