  1. You don't need to rename or remove the old/stock speech.mix. You need to leave the old speech.mix alone.
  2. You can change the weapon that the Parbombs bomber drop and spyplane uses. I did this for Red Dawn.
  3. You know you can't rename a .wav to .aud....
  4. All logic for the Chronosphere is hard coded.
  5. All sounds have to be .aud format the game can't use any other for sounds. The also have to be put into a mix file.
  6. Not impossible, just not working yet do to compatibility issues that it would make for CnC Net. Hopefully CnC Net 5 will have a way to get around and/or fix the compatibility issues.
  7. The best source for a C&C95 like EVA that would work well in RA1 is the RA2/YR EVA I think.
  8. I used Multi3 for infantray at the start of the map and has no real buildings, they may "own" a few barrals but thats about all.
  9. The AI will rebuild destroyed buildings. If you seen the AI build two Obelisks at or nearly the same time it is likely one was build by USSR and the other by Badguy.

  12. This is from Red Dawn as is. Some sound are off for Red Alert. I can see if I can make some to fit better for RA1. The TD EVA lacks all of the timer count downs, Primary objective, secondary objective, etc.

  14. If you want you can convert the TD EVA to RA. The speech.mix has the sound for the EVA for TD and RA. (The Red Alert speech.mix is packed into the RedAlert.mix) The file names are not the same to you can't copy the TD speech.mix to RA. You will have to take each .aud out and change them to the right names for RA1 than pack them into a mix file. I found it lacking for RA over all so I used the Tib Sun EVA. Here is the Tib Sun EVA from Red Dawn. Drop the SC-EVA into your Red Alert folder and your done! TS_EVA_for_RA1.zip
  15. Have the POWEREXT.SHP. The other 2 must be in the expand3.mix as well. The expand3.mix farken crashs XCC Mixer a lot. I get in and find the other two quickly before XCC Mixer crashes.
  16. The extra cameo background image is in the mix. (side4na.shp and side4us.shp) Not sure why it is not working or did I miss somthing else? I think I can remake the power bar using DOS parts as long as the lines are set up like Win95.

  18. Are you trying to use all 3 PC of you network to play on CnCNet like a LAN game?
  19. Tried but didn't work too well for the Allied and dealing with 43 frames for each Radar sceen will not be fun. Did that once already... What I did was replace the first frame of the Allied and Soviet radar screens with DOS. The other 42 are still Win95. The other 42 are used as animation when you build a Radar Done.   21. If you can't get it to crash again it may be a random crash.
  22. Formation glitch. It a very old trick. All the units will travel the speed of fastest unit when all of the units are put in a formation most of the time. Example Build a Mine Layer and put in a group with something slow like Mammoth Tanks. Then make them a group (Ctrl 1-9) and then a formation (f) *This may now be "C"*. All the units will travel the speed of the Mine Layer.
