Iran I think RAED is some what incomplate as it dosn't understand some RA triggers. You can make mission fine with RAED. It just some stock tiggers it can't understand so I have to redo them if I know they are broke but some tigger look fine but don't work in game right. Just opeing Brothers in Arms and saving it with out edting any thing will break the mission. When the Spy come out of the Forward Command Post you get a Mission Failed. Why I don't know. Both Allied 9 mission if you saving with out edting any thing will cause Kosygin to NOT come out of the Forward Command Post no mater how many Spys you send in. Editing Nuclear Escalation can cause the Allied AI to order all units to go into Hunt mode at the start of the map. To fix Brothers in Arms the Ukraine needs to be changed to an Allied side house. Ukraine is a Soviet House. I can play Brothers in Arms and make sure that the win screen was doing this but like I said I'm 99.9 sure it was. I'm sure all but scu13ea.ini will work. Some one will need to test scu13ea.ini. scu08eb.ini I did by extracting the mission with XCC Mixer and find the [TeamTypes] than looking for a E4 in the [TeamTypes] that with teamed with Allied units and change it. Soviet 6 A and B I extaracted 2 copies of the missions with XCC Mixer. One set I used RAED to remove the APC from the APC1 and APC2 TeamTypes. Than I copied the APC1 and APC2 from the maps edited with RAED to the unedited missions. This way the only thing changed was the APC1 and APC2 TeamTypes for both maps. I also something like this with Time Flies to try to fix the Ore Trucks and Lets make a steal I tested my self. r34ch Volkov could do that before and will do the same if you re-order him into the Tech Center as well.

In stock RA foundations are hard code. The game will center the shp file the best it can to the foundation.

I made the tress for the RA desert. They are converts and resize of the Tib Sun tress. I converted the Cactus/Cacti from TD and the one Tree from TD that would work in RA. The large Tree form TD wounldn't work as it would "clip" or "ghost" through the shroud of the map. The very dark shadows are from the program he used to get the full map preview. The shadows are not dark in game. All of the Tib Sun trees were made so that any Temperate (grass) and Snow map could be converted to Desert with out having to remove every tree from the map or if you failed to remove the tress from the map you would find areas for the map that had invisable tress. The ore and mine are from Temperate (grass) so the still have dark green spots. -
Nice map pre-view. Dose it work with all maps or is it just with maps that the pre-cncnet5 program knows?

r34chTry the new one below and far as I know DarkVen9109 is right unless Iran can look and see if there is somthing else with in the game that changes how the game makes teams for each difficulty. Iran Give my Time Flies mission a try. I ask since RAED dosn't always work well with stock missions. It seem to always break a trigger or two. A lot of the Let's Make a Steal triggers were missing USSR from any triggers that used "Event #: Entered by... *SIDE*". Some happens to Time Flies that I don't under stand. The Heavy Tank dosn't run once the Chrono Tanks apear on the map and load on to the Transport. It just stays still. To get around this I hand copy and pasted a new HARV teamtype and put Ore Trucks on the map so RAED couldn't mess up the Heavy Tank trigger at the statr of the map or any other triggers. Some maps I won't edit at all in RAED since it breaks the mission and I can't found out why. One Mission that need to be redone but can't be is Brothers in Arms. If I'm recalling right once you win the mission every thing is listed as Soviet losses when it come to units lost and building destryed You may only see one Allied unit lost as Tanya will land on a beach and you can kill her but that is the only Allied loss shown on the win screen. I'm 99.9% sure it was this way in v2.00. If you could get the map editor mode functional Brothers in Arms could be fixed. New_Lets_make_a_steal_scu42ea.ini.zip Time_Flies_scg44ea.ini.zip

I don't know any thing about ARDA. The Chem. Warrior still has frames that RA has no logic for and I don't think ARDA would have it as well so a Frames=XXX may not work very well. You may have to extract the Flamethrower or Shock Trooper and recolor the backpack on them. If you can't do this I have alreay done this when I changed the Shock Trooper into a Chem. Warrior and I will give it to you. The Jammer Tower is from C&C95 videos. The background is from the gunboat video and the tower it self is from one of the tiberium info videos that show a Tiberium Refinery

Not too bad! The E1 and E3 could use darking in the name area like the raider icon and the letter are missing the black the makes the letter look raised. The black can be left off if you not going to use RA icons.

If you use the Dog you can do it or use the Phase Transport. Iran Is there any thing in the RA95.exe or Edwin.exe that was used to make the original game missions?

Try this Lets make a steal. I fixed the Demo Trucks so they work every time. The stock mission they wouldn't come on to the map at all or rarely they would below up before comming on the map. I also fixed things so your one men you can save from being gassed won't attack the Phase Transport. All Allied forces will attack the Phase Transport. Before some of the Allied forces wouldn't attack the Phase Transport. FYI the Pillboxes at 49 & 30 can be destryed by going to the computer panel to the left of the War Factroy. Some of you may have done this so you never saw the Pillboxes at 49 & 30. scu42ea.ini.zip

RA dosn't care about frames if the frame count is more than the unit had stock. The game will play just fine but will likely show the wrong frames when fire weapons, crawing and dying. If ARDA lets you set frame like TS dose than you should have no prob. The punching and kicking was cut from C&C95 and none of the logic for it is in RA1.

Your own men you can save from being gassed will attack the phase transport. Grunyev Revolution is not bugged. It is programed that way. Why I don't know.

Fixed both scu06ea.ini and scu06eb.ini. Now the infantry just run onto the map. Also know about the 'Lets make a steal' phase transport bug. The 'Reinforcements have arrived' is demo trucks belowing up the 2 pill boxes at waypoint 49 and 30. Both are on the excape route to finish the mission. scu06ea_and_scu06eb.zip

The APC could be removed from both teams. The infantry would still be reinforced but walking.

Saw the same thing. I did a fix as well but haven't posted it yet. I put the Ore Trucks on the map in "stop" mode at waypoint 55. Now once Global set is 9 is trigger (Tanya destroys the 2 Adv Power Plants) the AI orders the 2 Ore Trucks at at waypoint 55 to start working. This should stop the AI from geting all spamy with Ore Trucks. I changed E4 to E1... or Flamethrowers to Rifle Infantries. Both Soviet 6 mission have Supply Trucks that you must get to the northeast corner of the map. If you change the APCs to Supply Trucks you would confuse them for the 2 you most protect and get northeast corner of the map.

C&C 95 or RA for the Icon? I should be able to do it with purple palettes to remove the unwanted yellow.

It was made before ARDA and before Iran update to the ra95.exe. RA2TS was uploaded at http://ra.afraid.org 23-Apr-2000.

All of the RA mission have been reworked for quite some time. If you make the Rocket Soldier into Chem. Warrior the frame count must be the same. So you will have to remove frames from the Chem. Warrior to match that of the Rocket Soldier carefully. When I swapped the Rocket Soldier and Grenadier yes I did.

Just about every icon has yellow that is remap. That is easily seen with purple palettes. Some icons are not vary "paintable" This also messes up any mod. Every icon would have to be edited the to remove yellow from just like the RA would. RA icon showing used remap.

Here is the fix for Soviet 8B. I've seen the mega Ore Truck spam once before. Thought it was an error of game logic. I'll look at the map triggers and see if any thing makes an or Ore Truck. scu08eb.ini.zip
