  1. Try to play a 2vs2 game with ai, put one ai in your team and set it up on the same starting location as your own
  2. There are not many of those since the original game did not support it, so you will have to make your own
  3. Maybe something is wrong with the mod, might be the best to give us a link to the mod so we can check
  4. How long is your nickname? There is a bug where games fail to connect if the nickname is too long
  5. 1. Install the full game http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/ (Full Web-Installation) 2. Copy your mod into your game folder 3. Start ra95_Mod-Launcher.exe
  6. why do you make a new thread? the answer to your question is already here: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=3862
  7. normally you just extract them to the game folder and thats it Most of the mods will fail on cncnet tho, you would need to modify them to get them to work online Single-Player/skirmish should work fine, you should use the full game installation for it and the mod-launcher.exe if the mod wasn't shipped with a custom .exe http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/
  8. Install windows98, cncnet should work on it after installing .NET 2.0
  9. Ok, all downloads were updated You will notice that our mini multiplayer downloads have a lot extra features (High resolution patch, Game Launcher, Config Programs, Map Editors etc...), you can also have these features in your origin full game installation, the needed patches can be found here: CnC1: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cnc95upd/cc95p106/ Red Alert 1: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=1918.0 Tiberian Sun: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=3438.0
  10. This was just a test, I will revert the changes from the last update (those were just some visual changes anyways) and afterwards you can go to www.cncnet.org and downloads everything you want. I will post here again once i'm done in around 30minutes
  11. I told him to change his name
  12. you need to download xcc mixer and browse the .mix files http://xhp.xwis.net/ the map files are always called sc*.ini To remove the online version you only have to delete the folder
  13. The files are clean, you can always use website scanners like www.virustotal.com if you like to scan files without having an anti virus program installed
  14. Here is an older version of the red alert installer, maybe the problem got something to do with the updates last week: http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/temp/RedAlert1_Online_Installer.exe
  15. anti-virus, firewall?
  16. Getting it for all games is strange, you should get the patches tore linked. Make sure you have dpi scaling turned off (check if it is set to 100%/Default) http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/443-dpi-display-size-settings-change.html Virtual machines can cause such proiblems Windows 95/98 compat mode can limit the max resolution too
  17. That means the chosen game resolution is not supported, you will have to change the game resolution to get past that error. You should also tell us which game you are trying to play the next time (or are you talking about the first command and conquer?)
  18. We don't have anyone working on these packages besides me, I don't have a mac and I could never test the packages on my own (I made everything on windows) The only option you have is trying to update the package with the latest files manually (This only works via Mac, so I couldn't try it on my own yet) google "how to update a wineskin wrapper"
  19. The trick we are using on TS for mac is just a beta version, you can try to turn it off and check if that helps. But it will probably become much worse cause the game normally doesn't run well on macs Go to the game settings and disable TS-DDraw (change the rendering to default)
  20. Try to lower the DetailLevel settings via the ingame options, set it to the lowest possible. If the in-game options menu doesn't work for you then type this while you are in the cncnet chat lobby: /run sun.ini [Options] DetailLevel=0 change it to 0 and save the file
  21. Are you using our multiplayer Mac download? (the one with 3 games in 1 package)
  22. Is it probably exactly the same code, just on different locations. I'm sure 90% can just be re-used in yuri, but it's still some work to find and port it
  23. Oh, I thought you used RA1installer to install the single-player game. How did you install your game? If you don't have the cd's or iso files then you got to choose "Full Web-Install + Install CD2" in RA1installer
  24. Go to the game settings and enable TS-DDraw, if that doesn't help then try the other rendering options too
  25. Those are really strange, cannot explain these
