You should not use the patch for custom installations, it was made for the original unmodified versions It is indeed very strange that you only have 2 possible resolutions to choose from, i could imagine such problem only in virtual machines The latest installer can be found here: http://tore29.com/tsins/TSinstaller3-beta10r4-full.exe

There is a problem with the options menu on macs, it doesnt show up and it looks like the game froze for some players. You can go to settings via the game launcher and change your scroll rate in there outside of the game until the problem was fixed. The other option is to turn ts-ddraw off in the settings, but then your game performance might be really bad

Still no crash, no idea what it could be. You could try to use RA1installer to do a fresh Full Web-Installation into a different folder and see if it happens there too. This way we would at least know if it has something to do with TFD. You can keep your TFD install too, the new installation wont touch registry keys or anything that could break your TFD

Ok, your zipped savegame works! So maybe it was just about the filename, not getting a crash though. Maybe it is about your settings file

Ah, I justed tested it and i could load savegames made with different resolutions, so that can't be the problem But i don't really know what it is about, never tested around with savegames that much. Can you upload your settings file too (redalert.ini), maybe I can load it using the excatly same settings as you, would be cool to find out what is causing it!

You have put the savegame into a .zip archive, but you can also change the extension to .txt and then upload it

1) JumpJet glitch Someone told me about this some time ago, i tried to reproduce it but it didn't happen for me By default all players are shown in the list, if you like to hide ra/td/d2k/chat users then you gotta click on the icons of these games to hide them and you should only have the TS players left The donations are mainly used to pay for the servers, people can also host their own servers to support us instead of making a donation

What savegame did you try to load? Are you sure the savegame was made with the same game resolution as the resolution you have been using while trying to load it?

There is a small infantry patch, nyerguds made it some time ago. I don't know if it's really a good thing tho, it's kinda a disadvantage patch since it becomes harder to see incoming infantry scounts with it

Fixed the problem and updated the installer Thanks for the reply as I was waiting for the solution. Anyway I have searched for this scu44ea.ini file in my computer and it can't be found. In fact, I don't think I have installed it, so I don't think this is source of the crash. Tks anyway. I cannot reproduce that crash, can you create a savegame right before the crash happens and upload it here?
