Request for help translating red alert 1 to Spanish
FunkyFr3sh replied to Utka's topic in RA Singleplayer Maps
Are you using our spanish language pack for red alert 1 as base? We have all unit icons done, 95% of the sounds are done and the string table (conquer.eng) What still needs to be done: mission.ini tutorial.ini editor.eng Full translation package: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2166.0;attach=4325 Current Spanish add-on: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2166.0;attach=2367 ... How you want to translate the videos? subtitles? Do you know how to edit the videos and convert them back to the red alert format? -
Config file looks good, this file should not cause any errors at all. So I cannot tell why you are getting these errors

[move]CLAN!!! [/move]

A few years ago red alert was pretty much dead, you had to wait for hours to play a single game That was enough motivation to work on the games, we just wanted to get the games back alive
-
k, got all the videos now
-
The mini cncnet version was not made for LAN games actually, it was stripped down too much so it might not work Use the full game installer from here: http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/ (mini web-installation)
-
"for some reason, it doesn't do this online or in skirmish" what do you mean with that? Do you have multiple installations, one for online/skirmish and one for singleplayer? What windows do you have? Did you try to enable the graphics patch?
-
If you both have a working internet connection then click on "play online" in the game launcher, then select "LAN" and login If you don't have a working connection then you gotta enable the LAN patch in the config program and start ra95-spawn.exe manually in the game folder
-
it is related to the map you try to play, seems to be a broken key in there "Theme=" What map is it? Do other maps work for you? What kind of red alert installation do you use? Doesn't look like it is our multiplayer version, try this one: http://downloads.cncnet.org/RedAlert1_Online_Installer.exe

Try to re-install the game and play with the default settings, if it still happens then upload the error log "ra95crash.dmp" here
-
Ah right, yuri got a slightly different name for the file
-
Your mod probably got a rules.ini file (not sure if that's how it's called on yuri), you need to copy and rename that file to spawn.xdp and place it inside of your game folder
-
I will get the videos soon, currently I have a bug in my google account... says i use 31gb of my 15gb lol Gonna contact the support and ask them whats going on there http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/temp/google.png

Yes it is a known bug, the menu is invisible and there is no solution for it yet If you like to change the game settings then you gotta do that before the game starts via the config program. You can also type "/run sun.ini" in the game lobby to open the config file and edit it by hand You should be able to press ESC to get back into the game after pressing the options button Edit: It seems like the option menu has a higher chance to work when you open it via the ESC button rather than clicking on Options via the mouse
-
What installation do you use? Upload the redalert.ini for us so we can see it
-
He probably means that there are less players online now and we couldn't get a new all time high for a couple of months. But that is normal at this time of the year (it was the same in the last years) People will come back at the end of the year when it's cold outside, until that there won't be any new records

There was never a single-player compatible file with hotkeys and the extended sidebar, I tried add it but not 100% sure if it works perfectly since the cncnet code is in the package too: http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/td/hotkeys-and-extended-sidebar.zip

The unofficial patch renames files and makes the game incompatible to the vanilla TS (in other words, it is not compatible with my TS patch). If you want to apply the unofficial patch then you should copy your ts folder first to make sure it doesnt modify the TS files
-
Then something is wrong with your installation
-
Play at the original resolution (640x400)
-
Patch your TFD with this frostwyrm: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=3438.0 FinalSun is included and properly set up in this patch (I patched FinalSun to ignore the registry keys to avoid problems)
-
The PC version is not optimized for a controller, it would be really hard to play with it You better only use the ps1 version for that
-
Do you have tiberian dawn or dune2000 ? those have a hotkey editor made by me, if that one works then i could port it to red alert Edit: nvm, only one of the errors is related to the hotkey editor just re-install the game, your settings file might be screwed

Anyone tried to develop a map generator program yet?
FunkyFr3sh replied to Myg's topic in Mapping Discussion
Someone tried to do it for dune 2000 a couple of days ago http://forum.dune2k.com/uploads/monthly_05_2015/post-2251-0-68931000-1430860549.jpg Not bad, but the problem with finding the matching tiles to make it look awesome will probably be an issue in the cnc games too
