  2. To get the Enemy Mission AI to build new unit combos (e.g. rangers for soviets) you would need to modify the teamtypes. (the simplest Idea would simply be to change every soviet instance of 3tnk to 2tnk and vice versa for allies)
  3. it might be easier to just delete the [e3] section from aftermth.ini
  4. well like when a river tile joins to an ocean tile (i.e. river mouth/delta/whatever) it would look a bit strange if the water suddenly changed colour. (i.e. non existent combining with... um... green?)
  5. your only problem with rivers is you've got to make the water (or in your case, absence of water) the same colour as the 'ocean' tilesets water.

  8. I think I've only once managed to salvage one grenadier from the start of that level (you have to fight a light tank with them remember)
  9. can you imagine trying to do later GDI Missions with only minigunners. A single flame tank appears and its game over really.
  10. I honestly thought C&C3 got a lot more grief from people than it should've got (probably because people don't like EA).
  11. That new light tank looks like the most overpowered thing possible. But it also looks god damn awesome.

  13. Yes I meant to say that an actual 'Winner is' trigger has to be activated somewhere.
  14. If RA mapping tells me anything all 'Allow Win' triggers must have been fired before the 'Winner Is...' can be activated. I'm guessing it's the same for TD.
  15. Mission making in RA is quite challenging (well, if you want to make a GOOD one). It's a lot of fun too.
  16. I'm quite a fast learner, so there wouldn't be much stopping me from learning to code other than I'm incredibly Lazy.
  17. Admittedly If I could do any sort of programming/coding I would probably modify the current OpenRA engine into something I could use and then make something either standalone or as a mod in OpenRA.
  18. I remember in my modding mishaps I had the female tanya playing the super-buff sounds of the original C&C commando.
  19. And I have fun by rushing people. Apparently I'm both weird and an arsehole for doing that. But rushing will ALWAYS be part of C&C, no matter how much you complain.

  21. This. I haven't played cnc4 but whilst apparently ending the story in the way they planned to they did the 4th segment in a really dumb way. (That, and the gameplay sucked balls of course)
  22. First of all, we've heard about your constant annoying complaints about the game speed. I know, because I responded to them. Secondly I'm not too bothered if any mag is flagged because often people don't check and promptly lose out to modifications they were not warned about. If they leave the game because they don't like it it was probably for the best that they did not play.

  24. So a player can have a ping of 345,346,347,345 and its considered very good? That seems a bit strange to me.
