I remember it didn't show once when I sink the transport before it unloaded the MCV. Ah, okay. I haven't tried that and always went for the unloaded units.

Doesn't it? I thought it showed up when the transports arrive, not when the MCV is actually deployed.

I use Bandicam. Recording RA2 is a bit tricky. OBS does record it, but I don't really like OBS all that much. Mirillis Action and D3DGear don't detect it. What I did do is the following: 1. Set Bandicam to desktop recording. 2. Start recording. 3. Start RA2. 4. If you play YR, DON'T start and stop recording during cut scenes/menus. It will set the footage resolution to 800x600, even if you resolution is higher. The reason why I didn't use in-game recording with Bandicam is because it for some reason doesn't record the side bar and often distorts the image.

You can also do the reverse: Chrono ships on land. Another neat trick it to force attack your arms factory with a Chrono Legionnaire when the Soviets fire their nuke. A building that is currently being chrono'd can't be damaged, so your factory survives. Of course your Chrono Legionnaire is likely to get killed instead. I don't use walls normally, but the ability of the GIs to shoot over walls totally make it worth it. I wouldn't say it's too easy. I rarely get to use them before I fortified my base properly. You can go all crazy with them, though, and chrono all black Soviet units simultaneously.

Due to some issues with Nod mission 8, we jump back to Europe and continue with GDI mission 4. And this time I WIN! GDI Mission 4 -
While we are already discussing the commando: I sometimes see an AI commando attack a building with its gun instead of C4'ing it. Is that AI-only behavior or can my commandos do that too? Not that a commando's rifle deals any significant damage to buildings anyway.

I really don't know how you are supposed to play this mission. The par time is 50 minutes even for hard difficulty, which strikes me as excessive. By that time, you probably have long won or have long been defeated. Allies Mission 11: Fallout

I didn't have any crashes so far. The only issue I had were some random frame rate drops, but they only lasted for a couple of seconds and those may as well be a general Generals issue (no pun intended). -

I thought this mission would be easier in this mod, but it wasn't. Well, time to kill some "scientists". Nod Mission 7 -
I think Prism Tanks were nerfed in Yuri's Revenge. They are very good in Vanilla RA2, but in YR, they are basically essential because they are the only thing that deals with Yuri clones, Masterminds, Magnetrons, Chaos Drones, and Psychic Towers. Yuri just has waaay too much stuff that you can't get close to.

Nyerguds mentioned it on Youtube: Apparently the win condition is destroying all Soviet buildings. To prevent the USSR from losing straight away (because they have no initial buildings on the map), they placed a lone turret on one of the islands. Destroy that and they lose straight away! We'll see.
