??? This is very REAL fun. But i saw the shit speed in the remaster. So i still wait and think about it.

I will buy it this week, but boy is this speed shit. If they wont change it... it will be go down quickly. Why no high speed ffs? 4 players max? Stupid harvs? We dont have to go back to the medieval times, although i like it historically lol. I saw some of Whites games, and thats not TD. The speed is like we are playing a game 200 before Christ was born lol.

Did you change something else other than the range? You are right, Humble, that many underestimate them. With light inf vs them: It depends on the situation. If you sell cy and go for unlimited Arnolds, it can be very nasty... Its a unit that has to be microed well; if you cant do it, you get rekt.

They made it only for 4 players and with the same extremelly moronic harvs. Therefore, i wait. If it turns out to be worthy for my precious $ (even tho i could buy, buy, buy; but i hate to waste my money for flop games), i will be playing it. So i hope you are ready to decorate your base in that case, so my engies wont feel lonely, after they ate it.

Whats good about them? Atombombu sounds like a pakistani trying to speak english lol. (Nothing against Pakistanis, other than their lag, i really like their country ). One guy in RA1 made me laugh with his name: "Zwiebelmann" xD ("the onion man"). So he has my first vote. My second vote goes to "MajinPence"/"DarthPence"/"HungryPence"/"GreedyMike/[ARNOLD]/HngryArnold/JSBach/CMonteverdi/DGTisEZ" Now its tough. "SirCabal" was a good name, i asked Cabal, whether the Queen knighted him xD. Mammy is a nice name, too. So is "Zenetusken", which sounds good and powerful, without one really knowing what it means. REDRUM... is a nice homage and therefore deserves to be thought about. Pinkmamba, Whitemamba, and so on are good ideas as well. Or Stylewarz and his other names, which i cant mention here xD. MrFirestar is a nice name too (sounds like hes from Star Trek). Steelcore sounds dark and special. Maybe there are some other good names, too. Break or Phil from RA1 have some smart variations in their names. MashPotato from TD is a pretty well thought name, as well. Sometimes there is a guy in the lobby with the name Shaokhan, hes from Dune - who doesnt love Mortal Kombat? My third vote goes to: Zenetusken!

Thx . Its true that only a few really know how to "arnold" someone. But the vet change to make them stronger is only just. Because, before, they werent effective, if you are not get lucky or have a tib field sorrounding the enemies base (like in Small Ville)

I can now happily report after 3 weeks since the new changes were implemented: My Arnolds are still HUNGRY . I can live with the current change, and i want to thank the Vet Bal Patch team for giving me and others so much fun with it! Lets have many good games!

Would be a good idea - although you can just try to see it by using your mouse (clicking and selecting a whole space). But we should use the things we already have, too: Why arent TS players capable of using the wonderful feature of selecting teams and spots? We could have far more fun games sometimes, if we let 2 elite players select their teammates.

Thx Mola But you are 100x better than Amokk . This guy refused to ban laggers, refuses to help his allies or give any reasonable explanation for his beliefs (vet mod).He refuses to respect the people, who gave so much of their lifetime to this mod. He has no character. I would recommend anyone to just ban this guy from your games and dont join his games. Furthermore, he doesnt give any valuable argument against the Vet. Mola pointed out how you claimed Titans and engies are changed, which they arent. You were caught in a lie and then ignore other people's statement. Learn to communicate, learn to think.

Why do you dont like it? Why dont you like bugs getting fixed? Or Arnolds getting a slightly bit more strength? Instead of crying, appreciate the work of the ones, who made the Vet Bal.

@amokk I agree with you fully! I think those maps you mentioned should be vet balanced and then get into the map pool, too. Giants has to be there, i mean: 90 % of TS players only play this map. Dont forget the wonderful map "Small Ville" tho. Is Inferno in the mix yet? For my part: Vet is wonderful, its a complete success. I can accept both letting old Vanila maps be part of the ladder or not. But the old players just love this game as much as we do, and they want to compete, as well. So let them play their BUG+ maps maybe in a seperate ladder? If not, its fine, too. @Avesta: Yeah, Vet is much fairer, and many maps are unfair. But if both players agree on playing a map: They accepted that unfairness. Its like making a contract to buy a long time used car. You accept the flaws, but get a cheaper price for it (lol). Prob: Noone will unselect every map he doesnt like, it will take too much time. For the rest: The Vet Bal is great, and who complains about it, only shows how stupid he is.

1) Ppl dont get banned or kicked or admit they lost, when they use bugs or break rules. I experienced it very well on GIants or Conflict, when Kossuth secretly picks his hungarian friends as allies by colour, fooling the others its random, and then bashing noob team after noob team; the same with the 10 % of time, i really am right about a bug (and not just crying like a baby ;D) - ppl refuse to correct it. So we need a bug fix, hence the Vet Bel Mod/Patch. Its a great thing! 2) Dont compare the Vet Bel Mod to GIants lol. Its true, there are some skilled giants players like Firestar, Jaro or me (;P), but there is also a big fat noob farm, too. Giants is a completely different game, while the Vet Bal Patch just kills bugs and makes Arnolds a bit better. So i Mola is right, you cant compare these two things, its laughable. Not that GIants is bad, its good and fun; but its a completely different topic and has nothing to do with the Vet Bal. 3) Which point made Amokk or Corps clear? Anyone is free to play, what they want. But in ladder games, you need to compare ppl. We cant put FS on or multi fac on, i am all for it; but i dont need it either. But noone cries about that. But when bugs and unfairness gets fixed a BIT, you complain. The ladder is an unimportant part of the game, and many of the guys who talk here dont even use(d) it/would use it. If they would allow Vanila games, you would just refuse to play Vet games, and try to force others to play what you want. Mola even plays Vanila games with guys like Tigerr, he tries to include them. Noone forces you, Microsoft, to play the Vat Bal game. Where do we force you to play it? Nowhere. And noone forces you to play Ladder. You can argue to change the ladder, but you can as well let it stay as it is with good reasons. 4) I hear ppl complain EVERY time my Arnolds eat someone up. They are op, lalala. I want to see them use Arnolds: if its so easy, it should be a piece of cake. And dont forget: I used Arnolds in vanila first, i didnt even know they changed it, but they are stronger now. WIthout me using them for fun, noone would even know by now that Arnolds can be good :P.

First of all: Guest doesnt count, we dont know who it was (it could be corps again). Since when is Beasty ("HoHE") a TS player, lol? Hes a RA1 player, trolling us. So we have 8 legitimate votes for 1 name. 9 for less then 3, 10 for 3 or more. So the "3s" have it! Its just: I guess Djin is Mola. He r**ped me on ladder with nasty tactics, and i was a pathetic crybaby after. Would he have used a different name, i would have behaved differently. It showed, i am a hypocrite sometimes. Some ppl blame their allies, other blame their opponents: I blame bugs (idiot units for example) . Of all three options of blaming, i think that this is the smoothest way (most of the times i even say "wp" to my opponents, when i get my typical bug-meltdown - Ask Mola!). I am just ANGRY, as we all are, when we lose. Sometimes tho i really am right about bugs... idiot harvs for instance. And i know that i dont play optimally in TS, and i dont care. I play this game for 2,5 years for fun, we can play 1vs1 every time on Td if you want. Lol. I would love to see where you would stay in 2,5 years mostly playing Mod games in TS. 1) Who forces you to play the ladder? 2) Ladder is only an unimportant part of the game, you can still play what you want 3) If they would allow Vanila maps, guys like you would only play those maps 4) I asked for the option for guys like you to play those things, but i can understand, that they dont do it (points 1-3). Me, me, me, me.... When did you get a Noble Prize for your genius? They fixed: 1) 8-Tanks-die-to-1-bomber-bug 2) CC-Q-Tit-Bug 3) Banshee/Bomber-gets-attacked-by-sam-after-being-built-bug and so on. As for your personal attacks: We all gonna die, hence no insult or thought of someone else has any meaning for itself; and certainly my duty before the LORD doesnt include getting offended lol. Its NOT that i cant understand your principle point of view at all. There were guys, who made a Mod in TD. I was against it, but then i saw: I was a hypocrite in this regard: I am for freedom and free market, and games are there to have joy. If they maximize their joy by making and playing their mod version of TD, its fine, as long as they dont force me to play it; or as long as noone else plays the old version, if its not just a bugfix (which clearly it wasnt). So: I think the old TS shouldnt "die". The Vet supporters should still include the No-Vet-Faction to the community and offer them to play Vanila TS games, too. But thats about it. Other than the TD Mod, the TS Vet Mod mostly just changed extremely unfair things (1 bomber kills 8 tanks; CC can kill more than 2 tits; Arnolds are a better unit, but not op), while they tried to make TD a completely different game. TS is still TS, only bugfree. You can still diss rush, tit rush, etc. Therefore, the Patch is a success, and not a whole different game.

@olliegator If i could give your comment 20 likes, i would do it. Just the pure truth. Instead of complaining, they should honor the work of the ppl you mentioned. You are still free to play your BUG+ maps. But some ppl dont know how to appreciate work or atleast not the work of others. @Microsoft Yeah, PLA and ALA are a real thing on CncNet. Maybe someday they will get decent internet... As for your points, @Avesta: Cant agree more. FS shows where they tried to fix it. Prob with FS is: They made disses even stronger, although Reapers can be a good counter unit, but many ppl just dont play FS, so we dont know. And even if they thought its right to let tanks die that easily: Its just a question of fairness and realism, whether 6 tanks (4800 $) should die to one bomber. It ruins the game. WWs belief that they had to make bikes as weak as possible shows they arent Jesus either. In TD, GDI players had complained about the strength of bikes, and WW thought they should "fix" that in TS (although they arent op there). Result: A mostly useless unit for attacks (ez bomber food), only decent for diss def or harv harass, but rarely used. Even scouting is hard due to their extreme vulnerability. This was once the main Nod unit, the symbol of Nod: Fast and deadly. Now its weak as $hit. So: We should look into what is right and what is wrong more than what some human brains thought or didnt think to be right or wrong. But let us all not forget: TS IS A WONDERFUL GAME WE ALL LOVE. Its soooooo fun and good . So keep enjoying it as much as my Arnolds do!

If i would win it, i would give it to Nme, for his excelent work on Arnold maps! Hes trying to make them even sound like Arnolds . But i guess the top contenders are Trz, Corps, Mola and Humble!
