Technical Clarification

Question

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and I'm very interested in using the client but I have a few questions. When I download the client, is it for one game or all of them? In other words, does each game have its own cncnet client? Also, I own the C&C Ultimate Collection via EA/Origin. The EA App is extremely difficult to use. Were I to download all of the games in the Ultimate Collection using the EA App, would I be able to play them via the cncnet client and not the EA App?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Red40

Hi,

CnCNet right now is 2 clients. One for C&C1, RA1 and TS these games are freeware and can be downloaded directly from CnCNet for free. The second client is for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. This game is not freeware and can be purchased as part of C&C The Ultimate Collection on the EA App. Once the game has been downloaded you can install the CnCNet client over it.
