Nyerguds
Umm... There is no Nod mission 12b. You just played exactly the same mission twice Check the main menu. 29:37 in your A video, and 30:29 in your B video. The lower left corner gives you the internal map name. It says "SCB12EA" in both videos.
TaxOwlbear
I know - I did the same for GDI missions 5 and 13. But I promised to do all maps, so I do all maps. Even it's the same map. I like that Red Alert has different maps for all multi-map missions, even though the objectives are always the same (unlike in C&C1).
Nyerguds
GDI 5 is a bit of an odd case, though. It does have four missions internally, though two of them are the same except for the tiberium randomization (which, through study of the N64 missions, I determined to be an automated on-save feature of WW's internal map editor), but the mission #5 selection at the east side of the map has an actual bug in it which makes both choices load the same mission. My patch in fact replaces that mission; the duplicate one was the SCG05WA one, which you uploaded as "5a". Originally, the Ukraine version (SCG05EA) was that duplicate of SCG05WA, with the second Ukraine choice, SCG05EB, being the one hidden by the bug. I switched these two, so you played the previously-lost mission (now SCG05EA) for your C and D videos. I actually found out about this bug by playing the Nintendo64 version of the game; imagine my surprise when I suddenly found myself in a mission I had never seen in the more than 10 years I'd messed around with the game O_o
TaxOwlbear
Same for me. For some reason, I have a tendency to always choose the same mission, though, even if I pick randomly and don't pat attention what I chose the last time I played. Nyerguds
Ah. I did specific left, right and middle playthroughs to try to avoid that... though the split in the GDI missions could make one miss missions even like that
TaxOwlbear
I tend to do that only to skip missions I don't like. Specifically the Nod chopper mission and the GDi mission where (in vanilla) you have to babysit Moebius and the civilians.
Nyerguds
I love that Nod chopper mission! That GDI Moebius one is ridiculous though, even after I moved that blossom tree out of the village. Only way to "save" the civilians is to sandbag the whole place and then put a rocket launcher near the point where the Nod chinook death squads land
TaxOwlbear
Yeah, I had to cheese the Chinook part and put a bunch of units there that destroyed it as soon as it appeared. I don't know how many of the bloody thinsg I shot down during the mission. Probably 20 or so.
TaxOwlbear
And here it is: The final mission of the Nod campaign. Let's destroy GDI and build the Temple of Nod! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaxrsvlZtmM
Nyerguds
Psssh. You still didn't beat all missions, though
TaxOwlbear
The last two Nod missions will be uploaded on Sunday and next Tuesday. And no, I didn't beat the chopper mission and to be perfectly honest, I don't care. :heady:
TaxOwlbear
And here is the second map for the final Nod mission! That sounds a little less epic than last time, doesn't it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46_MosJQRok
TaxOwlbear
And now for the truly definitely really positively final Nod mission. Promise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nNdzZCD91g
Nyerguds
Well, until the Covert Ops and Special Ops, you mean Are you going to do the dinosaur campaign too?
TaxOwlbear
Yes, the dinosaur missions, Covert Ops, and N64/PSX special missions are next. Already uploaded and waiting to be published.

TaxOwlbear
Thanks to you for making them available for the PC. I think the C&C games for the PSX have support for the Playstation Mouse, but prefer the PC.
Kilkakon
Nod Death Squad is like that one map I never finished. Might be fun to see somebody else give it a go (or just work it out myself) haha
TaxOwlbear
Nod Death Squad isn't that bad once you figure out the map's mechanics. One important thing is that if you wipe one GDI out completely, the other two armies will attack you, so take the armies on one after another an always leave a couple of units alive. TaxOwlbear
Sorry, I mixed that up with Under Siege; C&C! In Nod Death Squad, knowing how the GDI units will behave and knowing what triggers their behaviour is key.
sgtmyers88
Ha! I love this! lol This will also save me A LOT of time with accurately redesigning and rescripting the campaign missions for the Tiberian Dawn Redux Mod versus having to replay them all through again. (currently got 18 missions completed in the last release) The pictured mission is based off of "Under Siege C&C" but with some alterations which makes the mission longer and more difficult. http://www.moddb.com/mods/command-conquer-tiberian-dawn-redux/images/command-conquer-tiberian-dawn-redux-screenshots495#imagebox
TaxOwlbear
You are the guy behind TDR? Awesome. I installed it recently and already made my way through the first couple of GDI missions. It's also on my Let's Play list.
sgtmyers88
Yes I went on a long hiatus after releasing v1.3 and accidentally released a broken v1.4 beta since I forgot to check and make sure the public release was stable. (was very busy in college at the time so couldn't be helped) The new v1.4 will fix some bugs & make some improvements/fixes to the existing missions and made some handy graphical and gameplay stability improvements such as improved AI and reduced lag. I might throw together the PATSUX mission to add to the SPECOPS (TDR's version of the Covert OP's Missions) campaign at the last minute if were lucky. TaxOwlbear
Do you have an approximate release date for v1.4?
sgtmyers88
October-ish... probably late in the month. I wanna get a couple more missions made and debugged to make the release worthwhile since there is little in the way of new content in 1.4 minus the new AI, which is basically just polish for the current release. haha
