pichorra Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Hehe Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 2.8GHz 4GB DDR2 @ 800MHz GeForce 8800 GT @ 750MHz/2000MHz 200GB + 500GB HDD I'm due for an upgrade tbh, need to move to an i7 and the GTX 300 cards (when they're released) OMG! c&c1 runs on that computer wihout problems? if win travista runs fast on that computer, the win xp runs as rocket! my computer is: 1GB RAM GeForce 6900 80GB hd Pentium 4 @ 3.08GHz
Nyerguds Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 And the glass! You can't do that in opera What glass?
pichorra Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 i think he is talking about the toolbars, who is transparent. lol im still thinking the Nintendo DS bowser is the best at all!
Irony Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 And the glass! You can't do that in opera What glass? I've glassed the toolbars and status bars (and then modded my extentions with another extention (stylish), so they sit well on the glass. Changed the colour of text and added shadows, etc) Tbh, this is my desktop pc so it's not as customized as my laptop. I'll post a screen when I get the chance
Nyerguds Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I thought that was just a standard feature in Windows 7
Irony Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Vista got bad press and was actually a good operating system. People just didn't look at the specs and ran it on outdated computers which caused it to appear slow. The initial crashes, etc were down to hardware manufacturers writing bad drivers. The FPS losses in games were fixed with SP1 when vista's performance beat XP. Windows 7 is a refinement of vista and now supports low end computers much better. Every windows released has been an improvement of the last.
Revolutionary Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 thank you, some who understand vista for what it is. as for windows 7... :ranting:
Irony Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Windows 7 is awesome. It's by far the best windows ever made. XP to Windows 7 is like Windows 95 to XP
Nyerguds Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Disclaimer: I have not actually tried the beta yet. I hear it's quite pleasant and hardly Hitler-y at all.
