Irony computer is of iron!!! 16 programs running at same time wihout freeze the windows vista!!!

oh man! the brazilian windows vista freeze so much! we nicknamed it of Windows TraVista!

I'm due for an upgrade tbh, need to move to an i7 and the GTX 300 cards (when they're released)

OMG! c&c1 runs on that computer wihout problems? if win travista runs fast on that computer, the win xp runs as rocket!

my computer is:

1GB RAM

GeForce 6900

80GB hd

And the glass! You can't do that in opera :P

I've glassed the toolbars and status bars (and then modded my extentions with another extention (stylish), so they sit well on the glass. Changed the colour of text and added shadows, etc)

 

 

Tbh, this is my desktop pc so it's not as customized as my laptop. I'll post a screen when I get the chance

Vista got bad press and was actually a good operating system. People just didn't look at the specs and ran it on outdated computers which caused it to appear slow. The initial crashes, etc were down to hardware manufacturers writing bad drivers. The FPS losses in games were fixed with SP1 when vista's performance beat XP.

 

Windows 7 is a refinement of vista and now supports low end computers much better.

 

Every windows released has been an improvement of the last.
