TaxOwlbear
This is a fun little side mission. Better designed than many of the main missions, in fact. Nod Mission 3: Free Rebel Commander
TaxOwlbear
You don't actually need to destroy the temple. Taking it over with an engineer works fine. However, that doesn't get you the cut scene of Hassan getting captured. Also, what's Nod's obsession with pyramidal buildings? TaxOwlbear
If you don't act quickly and decisively, this becomes one of the harder missions of the Nod campaign. GDI sends an endless stream of units and is overall a lot more threatening than in later missions. Not sure why. Nod Mission 5: Blackout
TaxOwlbear
Is this really easier after completing the optional mission? Nod Mission 6: Eviction Notice
TaxOwlbear
My least favourite mission in this game. At least it's short one, like so many of the Nod missions. It also punishes you not knowing exactly where to go. Nod Mission 7: Salvage Operation

X3M
maybe 1 might do the job, who knows. Or would a buggy be better? But is it managable?
TaxOwlbear
maybe 1 might do the job, who knows. Or would a buggy be better? But is it managable? You want another challenge video, don't you?
X3M
Sure, ok, a challenge! Since no one else is pitching them in. Begin with 1. save, try, load. Add 1, save, try, load. Add 1, save, try, load. Etc. Let's see where the number ends up But ehm, if you somehow fail the mission. Before even the first one arrives. Then there is no need for keep trying. TaxOwlbear
My theory is that those caravans were designed for camping in Tiberium fields. That would explain why they are so damn tough.

TaxOwlbear
Hey, Nod High Command, how about you don't sent in those convoys until the area is actually clear? Nod Mission 13b: Protect Waste Convoys
TaxOwlbear
No, this won't prevent GDI from building these later. Of course it won't. Nod Mission 14: Destroy Mammoth Mk II Prototype
X3M
Killing that mammoth tank MK2 is a "10 minute" mission. No need for stealth, no need for artillery, just some tick tanks for early defence. But then spam banchees. No need for extra pads either. I hate that mission. So anti climax.
