Jacko
No, this won't prevent GDI from building these later. Of course it won't. Nod Mission 14: Destroy Mammoth Mk II Prototype It didn't work in Tiberian Dawn, why would it work now?
TaxOwlbear
Talking about anticlimactic missions: Here's the next one. Nod Mission 15: Capture Jake McNeil
TaxOwlbear
Killing that mammoth tank MK2 is a "10 minute" mission. No need for stealth, no need for artillery, just some tick tanks for early defence. But then spam banchees. No need for extra pads either. I hate that mission. So anti climax. The whole Nod campaign is like that. I check the total running time of my Nod videos: It's around five hours, whereas my GDI videos are almost nine hours. I played the GDI campaign first and was a bit rusty, but there's just SO MANY Nod missions that can be completed in under ten minutes, it's ridiculous. It didn't work in Tiberian Dawn, why would it work now? It never does. Not for the Mammoth, for the Ion Cannon, nor for the Iron Curtain. Especially for the Iron Curtain. About one thrid of the RA1 Allied missions are connected to the Iron Curtain, and it's mostly for nothing.
ore_truck
CABAL did say they will build more in the future, destroying it now only buys valuable time. I guess this line is a good excuse to allow another Mammoth Mark 2 later on. lol I just realised the Mark 1 in the Nod Tiberian Dawn campaign is about disrupting its production too. Kind of ironic that the next (main) mission is literally the last Nod mission ever. XD

TaxOwlbear
Stealing GDI's Io Cannon's launch codes is even easier than last time! It will also lead to a final mission where we have access to the Ion Cannon, but GDI also does NOT have access to it, giving us two advantages. TaxOwlbear
Here's the final mission... which isn't all difficult. GDI has no superweapon, barely uses its air force, and we have all the shiny toys, like mobile artillery. Mainly mobile artillery.
