Sgtmyer88's Tiberian Dawn Redux and Aro's Twisted Insurrection made the top 100 in Moddb's Mod of the Year Competition (MOTY)

Tiberian Dawn Redux is in the top 100 released Generals Zero Hour mods and Twisted Insurrection is the Tiberian Sun mod in the upcoming mods section.

So what are you waiting for? Next Christmas? I hope not for then you will be able to go and vote!

A little about the mods

Twisted Insurrection

Twisted Insurrection started as a simple campaign for TS with a few new units, this campaign quickly turned into a Total Conversion mod. This mod is in a "universe" where Tiberian Sun didn't happen, and GDI didn't win the First Tiberium War, instead this mod follows the Nod victory. The Earth in TI is a strange world with odd Tiberian creatures lurking around every corner, and a mysterius "thorn" like entity is slowly consuming the planet; a minor GDI force still lurks around but they can do nothing, GDI is severly weakened by Nod suppremacy & propaganda. Nod is a splitt faction, The old Brotherhood which is loyal to the absent Kane. and the The Inner Circle which has taken Kane's place until he returns. Who would you fight for: The broken Global Defense Initiative or the splitt Brotherhood of Nod?

Tiberian Dawn Redux

Remember the original Command & Conquer? Remember all the units, characters and themes from the game? Remember the gritty feeling of RTS Warfare? Remember Tiberium?

Well, that classic game from the early 90's that spawned over a dozen titles and revolutionized the RTS Gaming World has been reincarnated in the advanced 3D World of the C&C Generals Zero Hour SAGE 3D Game Engine and looks better than ever! All the classic units and themes are back with changes and improvements over their originals, and one of the best video game soundtracks blasts in the background once again!

Wait a minute...what the hell is Moddb?!

Moddb is one of the largest modding/game development websites on the World Wide Web. It allows mod and game authors to show off their work and engage in discussion. You can say that Moddb is kinda like the Facebook for game development/modding.
