Warlord 0 Posted January 16, 2008 The default resolutions for RA2 and TS look ugly imo and out of place, so i made this tutorial for you guys. To be able to have more options on what res you use add the following text to SUN.ini or RA2.ini look for [Video] and add it under there this is located in your RA2 or TS directory: AllowHiResModes=yes Once you have added that, you will see that you can have a lot more resolutions now, there is also a way to make it toggle between resolutions. Which means on the main menu it is 640x480. But when it gets ingame it changes to the resolution you have selected. To do this add: AllowModeToggle=yes Add that in the same place below [Video]. There, you have a perfect resolution.
Aro 3 Posted January 16, 2008 I Reccomend people with smaller screens do not try this. Sometimes the resolution gets far to large and you can't even click on the options button to change it back, because It's gone of the screen. (RA2 Problem)
Nyerguds 117 Posted March 30, 2009 I recommend not enabling mode toggle. It gives bugs in TS... for example, it doesn't switch when loading savegames from the main menu.
sgtmyers88 22 Posted April 1, 2009 I was wondering... as I am working on Tiberian Dawn Redux for Zero Hour may i have any suggestions on upgrading the C&C1 FMV's to high quality and in high resolutions without being huge in filesize?
Nyerguds 117 Posted April 1, 2009 C&C3 stretches them automatically... though for the Tiberian Dawn mod we're using the Playstation versions, which have better colour quality and are in the correct aspect ratio (made for 320x240 instead of 320x200)
