White screen usually indicates drivers out of date, have you tried changing your game renderer at all? I could take a guess and say it's set on ts-ddraw ?

Hello, close the client, and then try downloading the file http://downloads.cncnet.org/updates/yr/Resources/clientdx.exe manually and placing it into your game directory (Where RA2 is installed).Then re-open the client and try again.

How do you mean by pausing the game? Pressing Alt + Tab, going into the in game menus? It could be your game renderer needs changing? What are you using currently (Look in the client options under Game renderer)

Just a little note. I've really enjoyed the time we've worked other over the years. Wayback when, where I first started to help with CnCNet, you were always supportive of the ideas I proposed, and honest when they weren't all that or possible. You provided the freedom for me to learn and develop those ideas, and with that CnCNet has not only become a fantastic side project for me personally, but also an amazing talking point in job interviews. It's always been a fun place to be where sometimes you just wanna chat and hangout with each other, but also a place to learn and progress yourself. I've learnt that being here apart of this team, we do have each others backs (if not eventually). If you ever need anything, just know we've always got your back no matter what, so don't be a stranger. If you're ever in UK just remember you have a place to stay, just give me a bit of notice to stock the fridge with some diet cokes! Thanks for everything hifi.

Hi - check if it is being blocked by your anti-virus or firewall. Also check you can download it via your browser, close the client and retry. If that doesn't work, try placing the downloaded file (link above) into your game directory manually and continuing the update.

Ultimately, any decisions will come down to us anyway because we're the ones working on the ladder for you all. We will have the larger and final say, that's just how it will work. That doesn't mean to say we're going to be complete control freaks about it all. If for example there's clearly an overwhelming dislike for something we've done, we'll discuss internally and see how to improve it. I like to think we've been very good in listening to everyone's feedback thus far, (especially dkeeton), a prime example was the points feedback topic in the Testers forum. That had countless iterations and his patience for that was amazing. To revert a change we've only had in the ladder for a little while seems premature to me at the moment. However, with that said, we'll look at some options internally to see if we can improve this so it works for both arguments in the topic.

Apologies if this has been said already, but what if there was an option in the client to show your name? For example, if you both (you and your opponent) have the option checked for, you get to see who you're playing. If either has the option disabled, you don't see any names.

Hello, We need some additional information to help you out. In order for us to work out your issue, we will require your client.log file. Please attach it to your reply. Finding your client.log file: Navigate to your Red Alert 2 folder. This is where CnCNet is installed. Look for the folder called "Client" Inside this folder, there will be a file called client.log Do you happen to also have Mental Omega installed?

Ladder Added a forum widget showing recent games. Also an option to filter by game. It will remember your option via a cookie.

Yeah that is it, though nothing to see in that one it seems, can you check you haven't got any files in your "\Client\ErrorLogs" folder?
