What operating system are you using? Have you tried putting a disk in your drive? (it doesn't need to be a TS disk the No CD patch EA used is a bit wonky)
-
Do you have any virtual surround sound enabled? That caused C&C95 to loose sounds for me when I had it enabled on my Sennheiser PC333D's.
-
Now thats a new issue. What version of Windows do you have? If you have Win7 or newer check if you haven't accidentally muted the game in the volume mixer or indeed muted everything. If it isn't something as simple as that find an update for your audio driver.

En Taro Adun, Zeratul. Welcome to our little nostalgic corner of the Internet.

Try changing the renderer options. If that doesn't work try and use the attached game.exe. Game.zip

Aftermath and Counterstrike doesn't take place after the RA campaign it takes place during the campaign.

To get help with the Dawn of the Tiberium Age you better check out their own forum. The issue seems to be related to resolution though.

The best option depends on your PC. Try them all and see what works best. As far as I can remember the Graphics Patch changes how the game uses video memory.

Go to the settings and enable No CD.

You need to install .NET framework 2.0 for CnCNet 5. The reason why the CnCNet 4 lobby is empty is because people don't use CnCNet 4 for TS any more. In the C&C community TS has been the common abbreviation for Tiberian Sun since it was released.
-
TBS? You mean TS, right? TS is supported by CnCNet 5, I recommend using that. If you for some reason would like to use CnCNet 4 you need to run cncnet.exe and choose LAN.

CnCNet 5 doesn't support RA2/YR yet.

To get music go to the CnCNet settings menu -> game options and click on install music. No idea, it might need to.

This is hardcoded, gunboats only have 2 facings so they have to exit the map to "turn around".

Editing C&C95.exe (Unit cost, build time build level etc)
Tore replied to Markus's topic in Modding Discussion
If you want to mod unit stats in C&C95 you need to run TibEd in English mode and set everything to English. That should fix it corrupting C&C95.exe, it's a bug in TibEd. -
Jacko released a new mod for Red Alert today called Command and Conquer: Civil Warfare which contains a lot of different balance tweaks to the original Red Alert. Below is a gameplay video. C&C:CW Multiplayer on CnCNet - Jacko_UK vs Lovehandles G1 I'll let Jacko describe the new sides himself. If you're interested in this new mod check out the announcement topic.

We do not cover much about C&C games released after 2001 on this website, but once in a while something interesting shows up and since news has been quiet here for a while, it would be nice to see it be used. Renegade X is a fan made recreation by Totem Arts of C&C: Renegade the one and only first person shooter game in the C&C series. Released in 2002 C&C: Renegade was based in the world of the original C&C. While the development team of Renegade did take some liberties with the story and units from the original C&C (aka Tiberian Dawn) it was a good game after most of the release bugs were sorted. Renegade X will cover the multiplayer aspect of C&C: Renegade (C&C mode), it has faithfully recreated many of the gameplay elements while adding new things like capturable tech buildings I'll let the Renegade X team describe Renegade X in their own words. Renegade X - We Did It Renegade X started as a mod for Unreal Tournament 3, but after the release of the Unreal Development Kit (UDK) they took it upon themselves to made a stand alone game. Being based on the UDK allows Renegade X to have graphics, effects and sounds on par with modern games while being able to scale good enough to run on computers that aren't as recent. Renegade X has been in development for 7 years. It has come a long way since it was called Renegade 2007. It releases on February 26th for free, no "free to play", no premium accounts, no micro transactions, 100% free. If you're interested keep up to date on the Renegade X news at http://renegade-x.com and maybe you will see some of us on a Renegade X server on the 26th!

Nope, doing that can be done in seconds with Notepad.

Topics merged again, use this topic to post map updates. And every topic in the map forums must contain map releases. Otherwise use the mapping discussion forum.

That's odd, this usually happens only on Win8. If you feel like testing something you can see if this installer I made for TS works for you, it contains community patches and such that makes the game run a lot better on modern systems: http://tore29.com/tsins/TSinstaller3-beta8r3.exe it's a beta version so it might have issues. If you find any issues with it please tell me. If it gets enough positive feedback it will replace the one currently on the site.

Well we do depending on if the person is German or not. Seriously though Grant was messing around with typography and the like, it's a placeholder. I commented on it too.
