I see Jonttu is first with the cake this year.

It's that time of the year again. The sun might be shining or the rain might be pouring down, it might exhaustingly hot or it might feel like autumn, but still it is the middle of summer with annoying insects flying everywhere. In the middle of summer we note something special: How long this website has existed. The Command & Conquer Communications Center has turned six years old! So bring out the cake: real or digital it doesn't matter! I for sure had some real cake today.

I haven't really looked into how well TS runs on Wine. I'll try that out.

Hyperpatch adds modding features and fixes a crash related to lasers and disruptors. The UMP is meant as a basis for mods, it is incompatible with normal versions of TS. The Graphics Patcher might fix lag if you have an issue with that in single player.

1.06c r3 is the newest one. Nyerguds is slowly working on 1.06c r4, 1.06d or whatever he wants to name it.
-
Try using this RA instead http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=1918.0 Its got a bunch of settings.

I'm unsure what you mean with this. Do want to make a C&C/RA like game or a mod for C&C/RA? Since a mod like this for C&C/RA is not possible.

CnCNet has for the past week been in communication with PlayCNC an ambitious project to unify the online experience for Command & Conquer games. CnCNet and PlayCNC has decided that CnCNet technology and services will be the systems powering the online functions for Command & Conquer (Tiberian Dawn) and Red Alert. This means that the people behind PlayCNC can focus on features like ladder integration for the time being. This does not mean that CnCNet and PlayCNC will be merging into one project. The two teams feel that they are not ready to go to such measures. For users this basically means that CnCNet will be running the C&C1 and RA side of things and accounts between CnCNet and PlayCNC will be unified. Post comments in this topic.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the forum rules have been updated. They are mostly the same as the old ones, but some rules have been removed, some added and others have been clarified.

"Red Alert shall never die, only the players!" An amazing fact as come to my attention. Red Alert Archive has resumed posting updates on their site! Red Alert Archive is one of the largest Red Alert websites. It has been common knowledge that the last post from them dates from 2004 and that the site hasn't been active in many years. But this changed on May 13th 2013 when RaZor started posting updates again. The Red Alert Archive has returned!

Some games had modes up to 1024 x 768.

The theme packs are for Windows XP and older and the downloads are unstable because the site hosting them (cncworld.org) are having problems. You can try this beta version: http://tore29.com/tsins/TSinstaller-beta7r4.exe
-
Could you zip and upload the except.txt from your TS folder?
-
For shits n' giggles you could try this version I've been working on, on and off for a while: http://tore29.com/tsins/TSinstaller-beta7r4.exe This could be an issue relating to either an incomplete install (corrupt download? anti-virus being dumb?) or it could be that the game isn't loading it's files correctly (do you have admin permissions?)

The money chirp sound has always been glitched in C&C95. I think it's related to the speed of the CPU or how fast the game is running. Try limiting the speed of the game by changing maxfps in ddraw.ini in your c&C95 folder.

Apology noted. Let's just leave it at that.

Use the tool Funky linked to Pigeon. Either patch your TUC or download the game itself using the tool.

Nice, hopefully it will be worth the wait
