  2. personaly i dont mind that its not a Realy RTS game and its not to bad a game its just not a CnC, Generals is more of a CnC than 4 imo, 4 just doesnt have the same look, feel or apeal as the other CnC games
  3. not much i can say other then quote what is in the patch, still lacking several major things like resource managment, base building, etc (supreme commander 2 any one) but other than that they have put quite a bit of effort in to it Official anouncment Here World builder download Here

It the lag is more recognisable when building cheap things, This is because of the gclock2.shp (Tibsun.mix\conquer.mix\gclock2.shp) which is the shadow which is shown over the top of the cameos when you build. There were afew posts on ppm and tibweb about it but i think the only solution was to shorten gcock2 by a few frames
  8. @FekLeyrTarg Good thing im learning German (pitty im so bad at it ) It would be imo hypocritical if EA got upset about a Freeware game being putup for download in another language so yea and yea add a link @MrFlibble Firestorm would be very interesting to say the least. Ill have a look and it would be great if you could upload/send me the graphics

While loocking threw PPM i came a cross this topic about the german "censored" version of generals http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25783 I was wondering what was censored from the original CnC's and 2D Dune games. I believe RA1 and TS units had oil rather than blood however i have never seen an example of it r even the graphics Realy what i am asking is can any one upload the graphics (.shp's) or post screenshot of the graphics and help identify what is different between the different version of the games. on a side note since CnC, RA and TS+FS are freeware any body know if there are any no english versions up for download (if CnC/RA is up for download anyware it stops me asking for the censored graphics, sounds, movies, etc. same goes for TS only i would like to see how a non english version of TS works not just strip it appart and leave it) Revolutionary
  12. @pichorra Comunism is extreme Socialism so yea Comunism is a part of Socialism as for LAN, lan is dead, video game companies cant control LAN play as strictly as Online play just like being able to walk in to a shop and buy a boxed copy of a game its harder for the Totaltarian Games companies to control things like piracy, how much money they are making etc

Yea the description he gives matches the fictional socalist party in Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984), by George Orwell, Ingsoc (“English Socialismâ€) computer game Fascism (the other end of the political spectrum), computer game totalitarian or Computer game Corrupt-Communism when it comes to new policies and DRMs/ other programs i dont understand what was so wrong with install/online code and disc in drive needed to play in order not to sound hypocritical you would surely have to, like me, not use steam who in-force such things as you describe, there servers could go down over night and never can back, suddenly you cant play any games from them and they have parted with your cash. i honestly belive nothing should have to much power i belive in certian communist and socialist ideals how ever i would rather see a nation splinter than for one centural power take control, The problem is the big companys. Microsoft can't controle the PC as a platform so they turn to the xbox where they are in control, and since the software compaines have the threat of modders who might show them up, hackers/cheater who may show them the faults in there perfect game and ilegal downloaders who are the minority and might cheat them out of cash all add up to them want ing control they dont care in the end about the product just making money and ALL the big companies have don it recently EA, Blizzard, Activision... the pc is turning in to a platform which is only good for retro gamming and indie games and even then the big companies what to try to controle that...
  14. the mini-map is from one of the last GDI missions (i think its the last but cant remember) from the mini map you should be looking at a defended temple of nod it is safe to say it is edited but by the base set up (and ssm)id say its may be a multi player map?

First of i would like to appoligise for the lack of any thing status of mod Work has Restarted we have a new member of the modding team Cat-a-strobe-ic Dj who you may have seen around Tiberium Web He will be making vxl for this mod and has already started and finnished one or two The current internal version is going to be ripped to shreads over the comming months, ALL shps currently incompleat are going to be finnished. The INI files are all going to be redone to remove errors, problems and make things easyer to find BoB is now going to be re-built on top of Revos patch* With as much of the shp work compleated as possible i can focus of codding and balancing the units and buildings *Revos patch is now the base for my larger projects and will include a terrain expansion patch, it is a mod and small lang.dll edit which fixes graphical bugs, fixes maps, updates some ingame menus. I may allow people to use this when it is more compleat and Depending on how much work is needed the terrain expansion may never be included in TS:BoB Please dont comment on spelling i am posting this in a hurry as i have lots of course work i have to get threw currently

Welcome to C&C Comm Center The Source Code was never made avalible for any of the CnC games, I know (or think) Nyerguds (the creator of the unofficial CnC patch) and Hyper use a tool called IDA Pro to Dissemble the cnc exe's (personally i dont know much about it, im just a novice who has the tools but lacks the knowledge/experiance) Asking Nyerguds would be your best bet at this moment (hopefully he will pop by soon)

As you all will have probably seen very little has happened recently, I am determined not to let this mod die however I have had very little time work on this mod recently, however I will have more time over the next few weeks to months. This is a plea for help with my mod TS:BoB I am willing to accept what ever help you can give and will be grateful no matter how small. Jobs if any interest you feel free to ask and i will list what has to be done in that category. 2D editing (shp) infantry - if you have seen any beta pics you will know what i mean, if you are a modder you know how long it will take. tem/sno - beta cliffs and creation/conversion of some terrain pieces e.g. oil tanker, ruins, train bridge supports... animations - other than building animations mainly some effects and explosions are needed. not as needed as other jobs Cameo editor - few new unit and building cameos needed. structures - a few buildings remain to be created. Build-up animations and building animations required for others. jobs range from small to big. Vxl editing simple vxls - lots of vxls still need to be recolored to total remap. complex vxls - vxls need to be created/recolored (vxls with sections/ fancy animations e.g. walking) Coding art coder - to help with related problems and to speed up coding. rules coder - to help with related problems and to speed up coding.
