extra mammoth tanks FTW (CnC DOS Demo)

I personal liked the Tiberian sun demo with its two unique levels, as they give you a feeling of what the game is about and teach you how to play with out revealing any of the story however it would have been nice to have included these in TS (like as a Tutorial campain) @Mrflibble is it just water sound which is different or have you noticed any others (illl find out for my self soon) Only im trying to gather together all the official content which is missing from fully patched/English RA and TS.

i didnt mean to imply the DOS versions were inferior, but unless you do some vodo the only way you can play CnC 1 in a window is threw emulators, either DOS box and the dos version OR Wine on linux and the win 95 (or DOS?) version

Has any one concidered uploading sole survivor to Abandonia, it would have made a lot more sense after all the do have dune 2, 2k and CnC DOS uploaded there. (and it saves on 53 of mirors most of which are one sites which will eventualy take them down)

Its an interesting idea, I take it they grays are neutrals? This could well bring a compleatly new element to C&C and possibly even RA.

whats your router and how is you connection/what is it? This sounds like it could possibly be at that end (also basic facts about your hardware help ie amount of ram, etc)

you cant run CnC or RA in windows mode (or unless you are using some sort of eulator ie CnC DOS in DOS Box or Wine, etc) It is possible to run TS and RA2 (and up) in a window. For RA2 and TS you need to run the game with the "-win" argument and have your screen properties set up for 16bit colour. [smg id=606]

Is this a bat which will kill explorer.exe and run the game or have you found something new? (Tore! if i had the moderation power I would do it my self but the reg fix realy needs to be stickied and put on the main page or some where easy to find)

and to think we slagged of CnC3 and 4 for changing the Tib story line the online was fun, the game it self was easy

Sleipnir doesnt have a spell checked (however it is built on the engine behind IE) Firefox is my run nothing, forget everything browser simply due to the add-ons (which is a bit of a shame because i have it looking realy nice) However ive been meaning to move from Slipnir to Arora for months now

win 7 has a lot more problems than vista when it comes to compatibility it has big problems with early windows application and 16 bit drivers (my friend was convinced it isn’t as good as the hype after he couldn’t re-install win 7 on a computer because the 7 installer will refuse to work if backing storage device and disk drive use different cables [iDE/S-ATA] DX 11 can be installed on vista as well as for xp mode, really unless you are a business its not much use to you, vista has a xp compatibility mode anyway TBH with the rumours around windows 8 starting to surface the second React OS becomes stable im attempting to recreate the vista GUI and duel booting it with freedos...

make sure you down loaded the newer version there was a bit of a problem with the first

Its not starwars and I feel special for knowing what its for :mammoth: I look forward to further update regarding the mod-ability of this game and great work so far (btw I posted a suggestion over on the command and patch forum)

A new shp viewer tool has been made publicly available by Katz supporting not only RA2 and TS but also RA and C&C A screenshot of the program can be seen here The tool Was created for the benefit of the OpenRA developers and SandBox and has been made open source. I have experience similar problems however I put it down to my wireless network (and/or my wired network conflicting however i rules that out by simply unplugging the connection between my two vista PCs) I can play games with 3 computers however not 4 computers (1 XP, 2 Vista, 1 '7'), I guess what I'm trying to say is can you guarantee its not your network
