I think hyper answered it first over at ppm, hex-edit the right .dat files and rename english.vqa to the name of a video that doesnt excist. Any other questions however feel free to ask here and welcome to the cnc-comm

When i return from the Former GDR I shall be focusing on the ideas in this topic, your welcome of course to contribute ideas and/or start working on Tuts, etc -
The war factory has just quickly been flipped It is a very nice mod non-the-less i just hope maybe the hyper patch will allow the extra/special superweapons and CnC/RA facing war factorys <downloading>

all you have to do with the waterfalls is change the art entry and tell it to start at frame 2 rather than 1 for the waterfalls, its nice to have all the fixes together none the less

You miss several of my bug art.ini fixes on Tib-Web [NAREFN] and [PROCA] i didnt check if you got or not (ActiveAnimTwoZAdjust=-100) but there were others like (the following anim shows threw buildings with out my fixes) [NAPOST]ActiveAnimZAdjust=-25;100 [NTPYRA]ActiveAnimZAdjust=-30;127 [GAKODK]ActiveAnimZAdjust=-60;127 [NAMNTK]ActiveAnimZAdjust=-60;127 [NAWAST]ActiveAnimTwoZAdjust=-60;127 [GAFIRE]ActiveAnimTwoZAdjust=-75;100 as well as [Powerups] ... ICBM=13,CHEMISLE ; nuke missile one time shot has not being changed to [Powerups] ... ICBM=13,MLTIMISL ; nuke missile one time shot with out the change in the rules you get the chem missle create pick up anim for a multi-missle one time super where as with the fix you get the multi-missle create pick up anim for getting a one time multi-missle then of course there is OBL1_A, MWAR_a and CORE_C showing threw buildings, MWAR_a being the most problematic, it stoped my brother hiding his MWF behind a civ building since i could see the lights on its side shining threw

Lin Kuei Ominae patch will out do this one, we just have to wait for the Hyper patch... I like how every one has so far managed to miss all of my bug fixes, ill post my complain in the other topic

Its unusual for all games not to work. :/ Have you tried running the games under compatability mode, running them as admin and/ir installing TFD as an Admin (it might not make any difference on XP however) There shouldt be any reason for the Mac hardware to cause any problem (unlike the apple Operating Systems), you could of course try running the game using an emulator/virtual machine (you also get some which also emulate things like Hardware so if the Hardware was the problem this should fix it)

An attempt to Promote Modding, Mapping and CnC-Comm; Who is with me... (even if its just spreading the word) Would people be willing to help me try to expand the Number of Tutorials on this web site and to conduct modding research in CnC and RA, both game which have had very little research done in to them which hasn’t been lost. The Goal, for the number of research topics and maybe even Tutorials to have almost doubled as well as several new maps, several new active members and even a new mod or two by September. [glow=Green,2,300]Some of My ideas are as follows, Please comment and submit your own ideas.[/glow] ------- These ideas are for all 3 mainly supported game CnC, RA, TS Some Basic (n00b) Tuts both on modding and single/multi player mission creation (the CnC/RA modding tuts can be replaced as Nyerguds/Hyper makes progress however the core modding shouldn’t change) to help introduce people in to the game. Tuts dedicated to more advanced mapping e.g. Triggers etc. Tuts dedicated to more advanced modding e.g. things based on research, fancy things like multiple factory’s/ Naval yards in Tiberian Sun I am willing to create tut dedicated to patches such as a guide to ETS (and the Hyper patch when completed) and perhaps I could do some “basics†tuts for CnC, RA, TS and Generals as well as a few others. Other ideas I had were; Promoting CnC-Comm as the number one place for all things CnC(1) (Nyerguds patch, support/help, mapping, Modding, Graphics) and convincing some of the TS installer down-loaders to stay by supporting and introducing all aspects of the game to them.

Hey Guys, just a quick round up of whats been happening lately Contests The PPM W3D Modelling Contest may have its deadline extension however as it stands the deadline is the 30th of June And The Winter 2009/2010 Small Buildings Contest [TS] have extended there deadline extended to the 1st of august. Mods A new Tiberian Sun Mod Cabals legacy has been hosted over at Project Perfect Mod. The mod Adds cabal in as a new fraction as well as introducing many other promising ideas. Also C&C Generals: Crazy mod version 0.55 patch has been released. Maps 2 New maps have caught my attention both for Tiberian sun Velillian Islands (2-4) and FS Threshold 19 (2-3) The first im yet to play however i recommend the 2nd map by blai Tutorials A Mobile EMP cloning tutorial has also been posted recently over on PPM.

The German C&C site has posted a very revealing interview with Greg Black an ex EA command and Conquer Developer with interesting comments about the original idea behind C&C 4 and just how rushed C&C 3 and RA3 were. It can be found in english Here

Added the list of possibly supported games and mods for them Basicaly if its a BoB (Best of Beta) it recreates the best bit of a beta based on screenshots, videos, etc if its a Revo's mod its the game according to me they will include new items/graphics as well as unused/converted graphics and files, some original new content as well as new maps and game play options the other mod (not including the small DLC FO3 mod) are Total Conversions

Just an idea i had. I have made very little work on TS:BoB Recenty and CnC-comm has become rather quiet, so what would you think if i Turned the TS:BoB forum in to a forum like Gangster Sandbox on PPM , a forum covering several mods under the one roof all by the same person (of course dont expect the same standard) TS:BoB will still be supported of course and at the end of the day its up to Tore. Possibly supported Games - WiP's Command and Conquer (using Nyerguds newest Patch at the time) - I have idea however atm nothing is worth announcing ~ CnC Red Alert RA:BoB, Both Barrels (i cant not complete this mod ) ~ CnC: Tiberian Sun (with and with out both ETS and the Hyper patch) -Revo's TS (ETS), TS:BoB ~ CnC Generals [and Zero Hour?] -Revo's Generals ~ Fallout 3 (all DLC's i will try to keep compatability with the all even if several version are needed) - Revo's FO3, small DLC style add-on (no name) ~ Fallout New Vegas (only when it and modding tools are out, any FO3 mod will still be finished prior to mod being started on this game) - A Revo's i guess ~

why change a superweapon when you could create a new one, as for what can be achieved by it realy depends on how good you are at programming (i thought Syringe supported more programming languages than modenc says it does) -

as nice an idea as this sounds i have my dought as to how many modders attempt to donate/create things for there mod. 99% of the ares user ive come across just wait for the next version and simply put ideas forward for others to attempt do so and i have heard on no projects where someone has said "ive done this to allow this all thanks to Syringe allowing me to inject code into the game" and i get the feeling there isnt much support for people doing this (like they are treating it as an exe patch) although i may be wrong. -

yes in terms of features (think is more new features), but they are completely different in other respects An example could be editing the CnC DOS game.dat to get unlimited money [Nyerguds/Hyper's patches] compaired to using a trainer which doesnt edit the original files but still gives you unlimited money [Ares] ^I know its not 100% accurate however it gives people a basic idea. -

Its an exe patch for YR which adds in new features for modders to use[/bug fixes?] (like ETS, the Hyper patch and sort Nyerguds cnc1 patch) but it uses a different way of making these updates (unlike ETS/Hyper/Nyerguds) so its doesnt patch the exe directly -

i think ive got the RA demo but ive never played it, ill have a look sometime soon (my final exam is my 1st priority atm) as for the cnc 1 demo all the missions were ingames one but one was modifyed so you started with 6 mommoth tanks.
