@Ziggy Do you have any knowledge/ability to community with Andy and his time schedule? It seems like he is the odd one out of the 4. From what I've seen -- he is often on at USA late night times which is difficult for the other 3. Any word on this?

#Humiliation :ranting: :mad: :down: It will be a revenge game between XWIS Adam+Expand vs. Insaiyan+Pablo! You guys can set up that game whenever both teams are online . As far as ZigZag+andy vs. uJast + Nemi, is there any word from you (zig/others) on the compatibility of times? I know I've seen each memeber/talked with each member, but nothing seems to be coming out of this. Zigzag, are you and Andy often online at teh same time / available? Ujast/Nemi any word from you guys? I'd like to get that game either a set time or going by the end of this week (Friday). We have Korc/Nawb vs. the Russian team aiming for Sunday at a set time. this would conclude our first round match ups.

With how great of a series it was, I look forward to a possible rematch in the 2nd elimination bracket round 3, which seems very possible!

In an amazing series, Ankarar and Gun_Man proceed to the second round over XWIS Adam and Expand. Ankarar was the series MVP with excellent allied and yuri play. This series featured adam/expand a head 3-0 after the first 3 games, but Ankarar and Gun_man didn't quit and won the next 5 games. XWIS Adam and Expand -- You can get your revenge starting with a match up with Insaiyan and Pablo in the 2nd Elimination Bracket round 1. Whenever those teams are ready, feel free to find a streamer and get the game started. Ankarar and Gun_Man -- You can continue your conquest against Buffalo and Justin in the second round whenever both of your teams are online. Congrats. Nice stream by Auf-Ruler with commentary.

As an Update for all players: We have connected with just about everybody and here is what I am hearing. Nawb + Korc vs. Alexeyk + Reptoh Alexeyk's team is looking to play at 8pm their time, which is 1pm EST for those in US this week. Nawb / Korc, can you play this early? ZigZag/Andy vs. uJast + Nemi UJast and Nemi have been on this weekend looking for their opponents. Zig, is Andy still around/are you guys looking to play soon? XWIS Adam / Expand vs. Ank + Gun _ Man I hear that XWIS adam/Expand will be on after this weekend to participate in their games. I've seen Ank/Gun_Man around looking for their matchup. Great job on activity guys, let's try to get these games in early on in the week. Additionally, it would be *ideal* if teams could agree on a time in advanced so we can get good streaming options available and advertise properly.

Congratulations goes out to Buffalo and aMurdock for successfully entering the second round with a 5-0 defeat over Insaiyan and Pablo. Insaiyan and Pablo will now await the loser of XWIS Adam + Expand vs. Ankarar + Gun_Man in the 'losers bracket'. Buffalo + murdock now awaits the winner of the aforementioned matchup. Matt/Max would be an excellent addition, however, since the tournament started and there is no easy way to accommodate 1 more team, they will need to be the first team to take over an inactive team. With it being the weekend, we would like to get games going.... We've seen contact from just about every team involved here in the past week. Let's try to have a pushed motivation to get the games in by the end of this weekend. If teams cannot communicate/get games going by the weekend, we will look towards giving Matt/Max a spot over an inactive team. Auf Ruler will be on the games for those looking to get this tournament started.

Can't really go wrong with Marko / Tomi / Wonna. These guys truly knew how to play QM on all styles and settings. Remarkable to watch. I always hated M4STER's Style of play, but I have to admit he used everything he could to become a better competitor, there is some respect in that style, even tho I disagree with him being 'good' (he had to use everything to his advantage to be around rank 20).

In ra2: Mirage tanks are 'hidden'. Meaning when they are in tree-form it does not allow your cursor to auto-target them. You have to hold control+press on the tree to target it. When they are in tank-form you can target the tank as normal. Your units will not auto-shoot at the tree. In yr: Mirage tanks are hidden, but you now can target them without holding control+target. Your tanks will still NOT auto shoot them if they are in tree-form, but you will be able to identify which is a tree and which is a mirage by placing your cursor over it.

1. Participating in my own tourny *could* lead to bias, it's better that one does not participate in their own tourny. Anyways, I do not have the game installed, as my main computer is Linux-based. 2. We still need a couple more teams to get this tournament started. 3. I would have hoped players like Matt/Max, Mark+___, Sunny+___, Ico+___(kinky?), etc. would have joined. Would have made the tournament more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, from my estimation we only have 6 teams. With Korc looking for a partner, this would put us up to 7, however, this is not nearly the amount that I wanted when starting this thread. There are a lot of squabbles about trolls, yuri faction, and other meaningless junk that is stopping the community from further enjoyment. We still do not know/have people who can stream (Joe can't be streaming the entire tournament by himself) and the forum moderators are either ignoring my comments to clean up this thread or just not getting them. From what I can see, this tournament is on pause until we have a community that wants to see it happen.

Just an update, the registration will close on Friday evening (US time). We will evaluate the teams then to see what the tournament looks like.

Yuri will be allowed. Only one Yuri per team will be allowed in any given game. Yes, france is allowed.

Sign ups will close Friday October 21st, permitting that we have 8 teams.

Congratulations, that is quite an accomplishment in 2016. It's truly remarkable when you take a step back and think about the history of this game and the longevity involved here.

As for Jungle, I find it difficult to add that to the map pool. It would have to be transferred to every combatant prior to game start and last I had seen, this involved a recon error occuring first time through. I'm open to including it since it is such a brilliant 2on2 map, but I'd have to hear a bit more from others prior to putting into the map pool.

Please re-read the initial post for time frame information. i dont see a definite start date.. just an application end date.. and you dont even have 8 teams Not sure how you missed it. Time Frame Signs up from now until October 21. Tournament bracket to be determined the night of October 21th. Games to be completed from October 22nd to the end of November. Time frame is subject to change based on demand for the tournament. We expect all applications to be able to play their games within a month of tournament start. I will PM you after talking to Joe and figuring out the best foot forward.

Yeah, I fear this might be a graphics card problem in which case I haven't the slightest clue what to do. Working on a Linux machine and a brand new NVIDIA GPU (NVIDIA and Linux aren't a perfect match, especially with new hardware) I might simply be out of luck.

Hi Grant, thanks for the suggestion, I'm trying it right now. I've uninstalled everything I did so far. Now reinstalled ra2 and yr from the .exe files on xwis. Then, I install cncnet. I will now click the TS-DDRAW option to see if that will fix my black screen. Okay this doesn't work yet either. So when I select TS-DDRAW and start a skrimish game, I get the dreaded black screen (with a white screen in it too). When I press escape to go to quit screen it miraculously shows up. (So it shows the exist screen but not the actual gameplay). Not sure what could be wrong. So first problem needing to be solved is this black screen.

If anyone gets a chance to talk to Gun_Man and/or Ank please send them to this thread so they can decide if they still want to sign up for the 2on2 tournament.

OKAY, I give up for the day. so essentially there is a problem: I download this patch: http://justgarbage.blogspot.com/2014/08/patch-black-screen-red-alert-2-and.html To fix my black screen issue. It works, but then I can no longer do anything with cncnet (everything I do leads to cncnet crashing).

Well, I got the game to work now. It's a bit laggy in my virtual box so I'm trying to fix that issue now. My whole virtual box OS is laggy tho, so it isn't something ra2/yr related.
