DOS interface mod for RA95

Some thing I've noticed, when you toggle off the sidebar the credits tab shows some gray colour instead of black in the top right corner:

Allen262... which fonts do you need upscaled, and to replace which RA95 fonts? -_-

12metfnt.fnt is used for the Optons and Credits tabs.

grad6fnt.fnt is used for Menus and for top left in game text.

help.fnt is used when you hold your mouse over an icon to show buildings/units name and cost.

scorefnt.fnt is for the score board/win screen. You prob don't need to redo it.

type.fnt I don't know. Nothing seem to be changed. Maybe for WinEd?

Are the filenames the same in DOS RA and in RA95?

Doesn't RA95 have a 12point.fnt too?

I actually think the dos interface looks cool and represents the units better than the live action ones.

I've integrated this DOS interface mod with the cameo icons into my patch, just need to add some buttons for it in the config tool. Thanks again Allen262 you're doing God's work.

I noticed Tesla Tank, Shock trooper, Missile Sub and mechanic don't have a cameo.

Is the Chrono Tank and Mechanic icons working? I know they are in the They are in the DOS HIRES ICONS 2.zip on page 2.

Oh my apologies, it appears Funky's files for his online lobby program also include the expansions files and was interfering. Causing the original cameos inside the mix file he uses (spawn1.mix) to be loaded. I've modified the loading order for the mix files so this doesn't happen anymore.

Haven't looked at CnC Net 5 yet. I had a feeling it was loading order error as I'm still using the DOS icon for my Red Alert. They work fine for me but for the fact they don't change color.

Seems icons is not compatible with language packs. Any way to fix that?

 

P.S. Well, I fixed it manually.
