LastPanda Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 I got a bit carried away and was curious if I could possibly reach 1,000,000 credits in a C&C Red Alert skirmish... After reaching my base across the map with silos and power plants twice across and once vertically, I found my structure list blocked out. I didn't count how many structures I had but I did manage to get 650,000 credits, however ... So yeah, it must have been several hundred. (In the attached screen shot, you can see on the radar how expansive my base becomes.) I tried to sell off my helipads to see if I could trade them for more silos but I still couldn't build more. [Maximums] Players=8 ; ipx layer limits this to 8 maximum Aircraft=100 Anim=100 Building=500 Bullet=50 Factory=32 ; 32 is minimum for 8 player game Infantry=500 Overlay=1 ; special case -- only needs one Projectile=20 ; projectile types, not actual projectiles Smudge=1 ; special case -- only needs one Team=60 TeamType=60 Template=1 ; special case -- only needs one Terrain=500 ; trees and rocks TrigType=80 ; trigger types Trigger=200 ; triggers themselves Unit=500 Vessel=100 Warhead=10 ; warhead types, not actual warheads Weapon=55 ; weapon types, not actual weapons You can get over this cap some times if 2 players are building the 500th unit (tank) at the same time. Allen262 Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 It is NOT disabled permanently. I played full naval map (No way of land to attacked basese.) 1 vs 1 once and hit the cap. I was Allied and he was Soviet. I made use of the cap to spam gunboats and lock him out. It dose take time for the game to know that it is now under the cap and enable buildings of things again. X3M Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 hahaha, this game has many, many glitch abuse possibilities. But the limits are very low if you ask me. Can't someone make an adjustment and fixing the limits to a lower setting, yet for each player his/her own? I mean, there are games where you are limited to 90/100/200/150 units total. And some games count some units for 2, 3 or more points. You know, food/psi stuff. Even though, each unit in this game is going to be [ 1 ] . Just suggesting. First of all, you should know I was playing as Allies and I tend to lose a lot more structures to attacks so I needed to rebuild my base a number of times. But this time I made it to 735,000 credits so I'm sure that I can get over a million if I play as the Soviets. But here's the thing, after selling off literally every piece of weaponry I had, I decided to start getting rid of my power plants too and despite having no power, at all. I still had GPS. X3M Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 First things first. Remove your guro picture that you have for your avatar. There are children on this forum. Second, when you have like 10 construction yards. You can build and cancel constantly. Thus removing the ore from the silo's. And turning this into cash. This way, 2 million is easy.
