you can only do that via the redalert.ini file or with an old version of the config tool, its also possible to start with more than 10000credits
-
yes that would work or you wait until tomorrow and iran will tell you whats wrong with the missions

The official CnCNet5 client+game package download thread
FunkyFr3sh replied to FunkyFr3sh's topic in CnCNet Discussion
I'm looking for a mirror, currently the files are hosted on the same server as the cncnet4 server which means if cncnet4 is down its also not possible to play on cncnet5 If someone got like 10mb webspace to host the files i would be very happy! It would only be used incase the cncnet4 server is down (it wont cause much traffic at all) -
portableRA is standalone, you should never mix it up with any other installation
-
yes it works, and it looks like this: http://tore.cnc-comm.com/stuff/rasidebar1920x1080.png

nice, gotta try it out today Sounds like you didnt added new units and split the existing ones between the players ?

Original Counterstrike Ant missions ported to multiplayer these missions only work on CnCNet, they're using the new Co-Op map feature added by patches Players: 2 Side: Allies (germany/england/france/spain/turkey/Greece) I removed the download since the missions are included with CnCNet these days, just type "Ant Mission" into the search field inside of the game room or select the "Mission" map category

please don't spam the same question over and over on different locations in the forum

try out the old LAN patch, i attached it to this post wsock32.zip
-
it's an online game, and there is no working server for it which means its not possible to play it
-
if you can't see him but he can see you then its your computer causing the problem (firewall/closed port) try to put cncnet inside of your game folders and start it once (you don't need to play online, it will just extract a LAN patch) if it still doesn't work then try to play via the online server (make sure to disable the "faster peer-to-peer" option if you got the same problem online)

no its not about rules.ini mods, it's about full game mods like red dawn! the modders need to create their own game package and downloads map sending does work, but the client wont ship with the default maps since modders might modify the original maps (red dawn got many maps converted to desert/winter) -

Updates: the client supports now any red alert and tiberian dawn mod that exists! add the following 2 lines to the settings file (current name "ra1client.ini", might be changed to "cncnet5.ini" the next days") CustomGameType=ramscram CustomGameName=My Super Cool RA1 Mod Red Dawn is using the following settings: CustomGameType=rard CustomGameName=Red Dawn place your mods rules.ini into the main dir and rename it to "spawn.xdp", the aftrmath.ini must be renamed to "spawnam.xdp" the client will NOT download Maps/Icons/Sounds/Lanuage string tables for mods, make sure to create your own custom files or use the ones from the red alert version! ... Other updates: place a file called "CnCNet5ClientBackground.png" and it will be used as background voice chat has been added etc... (find the other new features yourself!) -
k then i dunno lol only option left is to use an cpu speed limiter
-
are you sure you have the scroll speed set to low in the game ?
-
make sure the file ddraw.dll exists in your game directory try to change the rendere to GDI too
-
open ddraw.ini and make sure MaxFps is set to 60
-
i think hes talking about flame dancers i never played thru the whole campaign, but ive seen those tanks and theyre crazy hehe
-
use XCC Mixer 1.47 from here http://xhp.xwis.net/
-
it might be that the missions will override some of the rules.ini keys, so you either have to edit the missions inside of "sc-flamedancers.mix" OR you have to find some keys which arent modified by the missions

i didnt update ra1installer with the latest ra95.exe yet since i would need to play with it at least 1-2month to make sure it doesnt cause problems online, the .exe which is included currently is very stable, i played with it for months without out of sync or other problems Also the new .exe doesnt have any multiplayer/lan/ enhancements so i prolly wont update it anytime soon, its too risky! try to use this file (on your own risk) http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/ra95.zip the radar crash is very rare btw, it prolly only happens once a week (incase you play the game everyday for hours) and the other crash i dunno, never heard about it try out irans installer if you are into singleplayer, you cant update to it you will need to redownload the game, he was updating it recently http://iran.cnc-comm.com/ra/
-
never heard about that version edit: try this file http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/ra95.zip
