Let's Play Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Co-op

Did the Empire really have blueprints for a Nano Core Royal Palace? Soviets Mission 3: Taking Back Ice Harbour -
Same as last time, except with cyborgs instead of bikes. Nod Mission 8b: Capture Umagon

I'll give it a shot.

The second Soviet mission features more sniping as well as more of the new support powers. The Soviets have to have a whole bunch of old satellites just waiting to be dropped on someone! Soviets Mission 2: Circus of Treachery -
You want another challenge video, don't you?

Why build ten when you can build 20?

Finally: Murder artillery! Nod Mission 8a: Capture Umagon

Let's Play Command & Conquer Red Alert: Counterstrike

I just gave this a shot. I managed to save all hostages, but I had to take the flame tower head-on to make it there in time (and simply kill the patrol, but I always do that). And then... ... this happened. Saving all hostages seems to make the mission impossible to complete. Methinks there's a red spy among them! -
My least favourite mission in this game. At least it's short one, like so many of the Nod missions. It also punishes you not knowing exactly where to go. Nod Mission 7: Salvage Operation

He, I remember when I played that mission for the first time and thought that the timer for the death of the first hostage is the total time I have to complete the missions. -
Let's Play Command & Conquer Red Alert: Counterstrike

The worst mission in that regard is IMO Personal War. For the LP, I had to restart that one ten times or more. -
I don't think I ever introduced myself here. Anyway, it's me, TaxOwlbear.

Command & Conquer Red Alert 3! I really like this game. Do I like it as much as the older entries? Probably not. I do love the coop campaign, though, and I like the distinctions between the three factions. Anyway, let's get on to the actual game. We start with the first Soviet mission, in which we defend the Leningrad Fortress - not that it needs much defending; it pretty has unlimited hit points anyway. The Red Alert 2 balance suggestion thread (Made for funsies)
TaxOwlbear replied to Philpy95's topic in Red Alert 2
I suggest to reduce the hit points of all units and defences by 75% and increase their damage output by 400%. That should speed things up. -

Nerfed Dreadnought, Rhino Tank, Flak Track and War Miners with half the capacity? Poor Soviets. -
Is this really easier after completing the optional mission? Nod Mission 6: Eviction Notice

I don't think it's that bad. What's worse is IMO triggering the fire ants in the north and then not activating the poison gas! -

To conclude the ant campaign, we have to complete - of course - an indoor mission. This one isn't too bad; you have plenty of resources and there's only one real trap. Ant Mission 4: Exterminate! -
Wow. I guess those videos were TOO AWESOME to be included in the final game. :O

I just read that the patch notes for the unofficial TFD patch feature: Out of curiosity: What are these lost videos?

With console RTS games, it's mouse or bust for me. I never had an PSX, though, but one of my buddies did. No idea where he got the mouse from; PSX mice where notoriously hard to get back then i our area. I didn't even know they existed before I tried his.

If you don't act quickly and decisively, this becomes one of the harder missions of the Nod campaign. GDI sends an endless stream of units and is overall a lot more threatening than in later missions. Not sure why. Nod Mission 5: Blackout

I have the plugin, but I can't get the emulator to register my mouse. I can hammer the buttons all I want, only key strokes are registered.
