  1. You don't actually need to destroy the temple. Taking it over with an engineer works fine. However, that doesn't get you the cut scene of Hassan getting captured. Also, what's Nod's obsession with pyramidal buildings? Nod Mission 4: Destroy Hassan's Temple
  2. I'm contemplating on it. To be honest, though, playing an RTS with a controller/no mouse is an absolute pain. I tried to use Project 64 with the NRage plugin to map the joystick to the mouse, but it didn't work.
  3. This mission is my favourite ant mission. The exterminators are a neat little gimmick, and the ants require some adjustment of my usual tactics. Ant Mission 3: Hunt!
  4. If I had first played RA1 on the PSX without a Playstation Mouse, I probably wouldn't be here. XD
  5. This is a fun little side mission. Better designed than many of the main missions, in fact. Nod Mission 3: Free Rebel Commander
  6. The second ant mission is a lot more relaxed than the first one. There's less ants on the ant side and more tanks on your side. Ant Mission 2: Rescue!
  7. Which version of Red Alert are you using? Original? The CnCNet version?
  8. Here we do what Nod does best: Capture TV stations. Nod Mission 2: Retaliation
  9. Style-wise, yhis look vert Dune to me.
  10. Let's move on to the Nod campaign! We have some in-fighting to do because we are Nod and Nod always does that. ALWAYS. Nod Mission 1: The Messiah Returns
  11. Ah, the famous ant campaign. Back in ye olden days, when stuff like this wasn't all over the Internet right away, this completely blew me away, and that was after I had played the dinosaur missions. The first mission isn't too bad. The very first time I played it, I thought it was impossible because I got swarmed right away. Later, I learned to value the rifleman spam. Ant Mission 1: Discovery!
  12. The shroud is for humans only. Until Emperor, that is, where the AI is basically blindfolded.
  13. It's on: The final GDI mission. Handled it pretty sloppily, but it did work out in the end. Way harder than the final Nod mission. GDI Mission 18: Final Conflict
  14. I'm not sure whether it's worth taking out the western base first. The majority of the attack seem to come from the north, and once that base is down, it's usually over for the Allies
  15. The eastern artillery is in fact a death trap. The artillery can actually reach your base (and the Kodiak) right from the start of the mission, but won't attack until you close in. If you close in too early, you're toast.
  16. I don't know. Probably Chill. I'll give it a shot once I'm gone with the LP.
  17. Nuke crates are also great for everyone involved. A second MCV doesn't hurt either for the construction time bonus.
  18. Or an Apache crate. Wait, can you get Apaches in crates?
  19. This mission can be very unforgiving, and may as have the hardest mission start in the entire game. Nod has artillery everywhere, and thanks to the Ion Storm, they can't be countered with planes for the longest part of the mission. GDI Mission 17: Weather the Storm
  20. That is mostly correct, though one add-on, Missions for Command & Conquer II does have mission that replace campaign missions and are compatible with the latest RA versions.
  21. This is yet another nuke mission. I mean, they not even pretending it's actually a fuel air bomb. Even the mission name contains "nuclear". Overall, not too bad of a mission. Barely any of the bombs are aimed at your base, and there's probably a spot where you are entirely safe. I could have ended this even earlier had I known about the second ore field. Soviets Mission 8: Nuclear Escalation
  22. Yes, all but two RA add-ons only have multiplayer maps. Expect a lot of redundancy, though.
  23. It's like the previous mission, except a lot slower and more drawn-out. GDI Mission 16b: Destroy Prototype Facility
