my opponent was defeated without me doing anything

It's happened twice now, first my team mate then my opponent, all of a sudden all their units and buildings exploded and they were gone but nobody shot at them.

Why?

It seems they left the game two seconds later but last I checked if someone drops out their command goes to the computer, doesn't it?

RA1 has a resign key? I thought they moved it to the menu to avoid this...

IIRC RA doesn't have a resign key

Wouldn't it be better if a resigned player simply gives control to the computer rather than everything just blowing up?

It would be less annoying this way especially if it is your ally in a 2v2 match.

With abort you can give the control to a computer player, with resign all your units blow up. The most online players will hate you if you do abort instead of resign tho

I can confirm that, and it's quite bothersome. Try your best to use the resign button instead!

They hate you even more if you insta-quit causing the entire game to lag for 15 seconds (RA) or 5 minutes! (TD)

si usas surrender se rompera la base entera y no quedara la pc aveces los mapas con radar sigue la partida aunque no haya oponente xD
