I tried 100 times download this installer from http://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer.exe ,but any way have that error No need to download it again, just run the CnCNet5_YR_Installer again, when it installs it should look for a new version (v2.18). After downloading the cncnet launcher the installation goes without any errors, but when trying to launch the game it tries to update and casts a COM object that it can not find in any available type library. It then fails, and crashes with lots of KABOOOOOOMS. I added the error i got as attachment. OS: Windows Vista X64 What i already tried: Update and check all my .net frameworks (installed correctly, checked registry, everything else works fine, 2, 3.5 sp1 & 4.0 installed without issues), searched the forums, saw someone else with the same issue but the question was not answered (this thread). Is the launcher not compatible with Windows Vista? If so are you going to implement this? blackn0x Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 this cncmaps renderer is always popping up after I login to cncnet making it impossible to play a game, it pops up and does something then goes away very quick then comes back again and does the same again. I was just able to take a screenshot of it just before it closed itself again so this error can be seen. it just never stops. edit: I fixed it by renaming "CNCMaps.Renderer.exe" to "CNCMaps.Renderer.exe.bak" don't know if this is a good idea or not though..
