Hello, I have a bug in the game when you start the game without CnCnet launcher everything works fine , the error only when run through the launcher, when you restore a previous version of the game (2.42) the game works but when updating error comes back , I think it is in the update. Windows 7.

Hello does this error happen everytime you launch a game via CnCNet? Skirmish too?

Could you upload the except.txt file found in your game directory to this post when this happens.

This error is both in skirmish and play with people.

Hello thank you for uploading this. Could we ask that you upload your spawn.ini file also found in your game directory please?

We have a couple of developers looking into this.

Yes , of course

Help please

The last few days when I run the cnc net I get about 5 script errors while it tries to update itself. And the update does not start and give "Update error"

I can connect to the cnc network but I cant join or host a game.

And here is my client.txt file attached.

Thanks.

Go to C:\Program Files\Red Alert 2 k\Red Alert 2\

Delete spawnmap.ini and restart

I did and it worked for the first time but not I have the same error and it's not working.. I think the problem is from the server ?

It could be that it's because your game is inside Program files. Try moving your game to my documents, deleting spawnmap.ini and restarting.

Having an issue with the Yuri's Revenge game lobby.  It shows 0 people in the Yuri's Revenge chat even though I know they are in there.  So I switch to the General CNCNet Chat and everyone shows up.  But when I'm in there, I can't see anything being said in the Yuri's Revenge chat and people in there, can't see that I'm logged in.

Hey there,

I recently bought the game as I saw your progress on the integration of RA2/YR was almost completely done and my fingers were itching to try and play RA2 against other people again. Now I installed everything (bought via Origin in the collection) and the game works great on its own, though when I try to run anything through the client it doesn't work. I've already tried several compatibility/administrator fixes but nothing has seemed to work.

The error that comes up seems to differ from time to time. Though it's mostly the "Main executable" error

Here you go, I do have one of these files in my folder. Now I have no clue myself what's causing this as I've said before. For as far as I can gather it should have something to do with CnCnet itself or Origin working with it in some weird way.

Hello, sorry to hear this. For us to check out what's going wrong, could you upload your except.txt found in your game directory where CnCNet is installed.

Just to bump my own post here. Because my issue still hasn't been resolved. Error comes up both in multiplayer and Skirmish.

Hi, I'm new around here and I'm getting some kind of problem after opening the CnCNet lobby: I cannot connect to the lobbies for some strange reason. I have UPnP activated and my router configuration should just work fine. I perfectly am able to play any other online game just fine. I bought Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge on Origin. If it can help in any way, here's a screenshot of my screen.

Hello - that's a strange one. Could you upload your cncnetclient.log file, it's found in your Origin Game directory where CnCNet is also installed.

Hi,

I am having an issue where ive tried to reinstall numerous times but I have no maps showing up like everyone else in the game lobbies.

It is blurry and doesnt show me the numbers or where people have positioned themselves.

I cannot figure it out!

Hello - sorry to hear you're having trouble.

Map rendering will require .NET framework 4, make sure you have that installed and you should be good to go.
