Check a skirmish game If that lags, go to Client options > Renderer, set to TS-DDRAW. Still lags after that, check videobackbuffer. Rinse and repeat until no lag

Ra2Nub
RA2 works the way that if 1 person lag in the room you will lag as well. If you have a good ping than you should not be the lagger, but someone in the room is. Do you also lag in 1 vs 1 with low ping?

iTzBryan
I've had some lag too but it's not unbearable. I haven't played enough matches online to tell exactly what it is. Seems to typically be the other person.

SiRaLeX
Post your computer specifications, particularly your operating system (aka Windows). Are you running Windows 10? Is it just running slow or does it stop occasionally and do units take long to move?

And you have to pay extra when you ask your isp for an upgraded internet connection I know about paying extra, and it's not quite obvious to me what ping has to do with optimum settings on network devices or internet speed. Gun_Man
i hope you guys know that lag is not dictated by ping. I've had pings of over 400 in a game and still had it be fast. The problem is someone in the room's internet connection not being stable. Try pinging to google and make sure your numbers are consistent. type /ping google.com -t in command prompt and check out the consistency of the pings.
