Since the newest update this morning YuriBot needs a few tweaks before it goes back and it will announce again, a little more prominently with this message than it did before. -- Regarding the tournament, we can provide artwork, advertising and a prize (however you wish to give it away and how is up to you). Suggestions: - Think of a tournament name, short & snappy - Decide on a concrete date and time GMT. - We can create a promo page and (i think link signups to http://challonge.com/ or other). - We can start advertising for signups (maybe a couple of days before) closer to the date you decide. Go to the Downloads section of xwis.net (EA-sponsored server) and install the multiplayer-only version of RA2, then copy all the .mix files from both the Allied and Soviet CDs. Start the game with 'Red Alert 2.exe' in admin mode. Until EA releases a patch for the original RA2 discs to work without SafeDisc (don't hold your breath), this is probably the best method. Alternatively, you can visit origin.com and purchase The Ultimate Collection. Also, since you're running this in Windows 10, I'm afraid you're more than likely going to run into more problems, usually graphics related. But fortunately there are fixes. I've just tried this on my Win 10 Pro x64 - no luck. Setup.exe still won't start. I've tried running in admin mode trying all the compatibility options. Didn't work. I entered a couple of my RA2 serial numbers (one from the original disc and the other from the bonus disc that came with RA3). In that case it's worth contacting EA directly with proof of purchase Bigred, they should be able to help you out with a digital version (hopefully)

wsock32.dll is removed because it conflicts with online play. How did you install the game? Origin?

Hello - I believe Windows 10 disables Safedisk/or some sort of Copyright check that prevents you from installing from old disks like these. The best advice I've found, is to redeem the game as a Digital download from Origin. http://help.ea.com/en/article/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin/

Hello, Is there a cncnetclient.log file available too? What happens when you visit "CnCNet" instead of skirmish, same result? Can you confirm you have .NET framework installed (2, 3.5 and 4).

1024 * 768 does not have a gui either, it seems like 640 and 800 * 600 have GUI. Default gives an error 'Unable to set video mode' Hmm, delete RA2MD.ini in your game directory and try again (with Default set). See if unable to set video mode still errors. If all fails, make sure your video card drivers are up to date.

I have done both, I think the issue was with resolution. I was using 2560 x 1440, when I changed to 640 * 480, the GUI was there. What happens when you try 1024 * 768, what happens when you set the Renderer in client options to Default?

1. Backup your custom maps folder to your desktop 2. Delete the Custom maps folder in your game directory (I.e RA2-YR - Maps - Custom ), relaunch and see if that works.

Possibly, it's pretty hard to say, as we don't really know what could be the cause. The latest download does confirm to work on El Capitan for others, including myself however.

Hello - I would take a guess and say that you need to install .NET Framework 3.5 and 4 Could you upload the client.log found in your game directory?

OK going back to your original post: This is likely because your Antivirus has blocked CnCNet, you need to allow an exception to CnCNetYRLauncher. When it's not found, its likely a currupt install of CnCNet, or its been moved to a vault by your Antivirus. This removes CnCNet, as the repair option will wipe the contents and reinstall the game fresh. CnCNet is not apart of Origin so if you did this, it would need to be reinstalled from http://cncnet.org/yuris-revenge All this aside, i would download the installer again and try a fresh install. Hey TRZ - this was way before the leaderboard even existed. Cups for players would be nice to see. Right now I believe its not a priority, there are still bugs and other features to fix before nicer features are implemented like this

Hello welcome! If you get stuck with tactics, the forum here is a good place to be to ask.

Ban features might be a possibility, though there's a system already in place for RA1/TS that does this, plus keeps a log of all previous nicknames I believe, something similar would be great for problems such as these. At least then you know who you are playing, and making new accounts won't make a difference.
