Well, from what I know in C&C, the teamptype options themselves determine if a team's units are produced or not. The "Create Team" triggers determine when it'll use these units to form an actual team and execute the commands in the teamtype. In contrast, a team that isn't set to be produced will be assembled from available units on the map when the "Create Team" triggers is fired. and "Autocreate" is just an automatically repeating randomly-timed "Create Team" trigger with a pool of teams to choose from on each execution.

it's not a matter of Win7 though. It's just a matter of 64-bit Windows. No 16-bit programs (old pure DOS programs and Win 3.11 era Windows programs) still work on 64-bit windows. Your best bet is using DOSBox. -
hibyte*0x100 + lowbyte Just that should do the trick... which is Hibyte and which is lowbyte depends if it's big-endian or little-endian of course. And that's 100 in hexadecimal, of course. It would help to specify which programming language you're talking about though. Different languages have different ways of expressing hexadecimal numbers.

what do you mean with "use more than 2 theaters at the same time"? The game has 3... Snow, Temperate and Interior. If you mean actually ADDING theaters like I did in C&C95, well, no, that requires some hacking

I think PuMa² did the original tile conversions... could be wrong though.

Revo... this is based on the number of frames in each tile, and which terrain type each one is. This isn't something you can automate, simply because it's different for each tile.

Well talking about C&C1, Autocreate doesn't work unless Production is activated too.

you "are being asked for a Directory"? by what? Your web browser, or an installer program? Obviously you have to download that tool and then run it, but it doesn't matter at all where you put the actual installer tool. And the installer program itself shouldn't ask for any folders.

oh right, RA's format contains the terrain types... in C&C1 that info is simply stored in the exe -_-

Ehh... for LAN you should simply not use cncnet at all. This is only for combining LAN games with people online.

Oh, nice work! The dark grey shores, crossings and bridge should be recoloured to something more sand-coloured though.

Not a clue, sorry... never made RA missions. But in C&C you always have to do everything manually unless you use the Autocreate trigger.

Maybe installing the DX9 components might help... I heard that some of them are missing in DX11. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en I know this helped some people run Renegade on Win7.

So if I get this right, the actual problem is that even with aircraft replacement enabled, both sides build the same helicopter?

It's basically what Westwood chat uses... it makes the games tons smoother. But some more research is needed to correctly enable it for LAN/CNCNet.

So both teams build the HELI then? I don't see how switching stuff could fix this... One thing you can do, but which is kinda hard without disassembling, is switch the 2 helis' internal IDs. But if it's anything like C&C1 that's not just a single byte change...

No, I mean the Apache and ORCA in rules.ini - what they replace. I assume Allies just build the HELI type ands Soviets just build the HIND type?
