Have you checked out the Unofficial Mini-Patch for TS? It fixes a lot of that kind of stuff.
-
isn't it just related to time? That would pretty much exactly sum up the effects... namely increased search range and attack time.
-
yeah... RA+ already includes 3.03, so I don't see much reason to install the patcher on it anyway.

Badgebomb's Map Pack Version 4.0 (little fix)
Nyerguds replied to Badgebomb's topic in C&C Multiplayer Maps
I just realized scm155ea uses Multi1. You kinda can't do that... it means a player gets those buildings at the start. Not to mention, these Nod units in the base will immediately pulverize the most northern player. All armed units put on a multiplayer map, including civilians, will immediately attack the most northern enemy. Also, I'm fairly sure the civilians count as enemies, meaning they have to be killed before the game finishes. And they're kinda sealed off. -
I never really saw the point in uploading that; it's just a looping intro. I could, of course. Still got access to that ftp, despite the fact cncsector kinda died ages ago
-
it's not that simple. C&C95 already had all the basic requirements for resolution switching. RA has none of them. It'll take tons of research and testing to pull it off btw, I merged your posts. Please use the [edit] button instead of double-posting.

Yes, I made one on cncworld.org. http://www.cncworld.org/?page=features/wwr I also made an enhanced mirror of the WW FTP, with added officially released material like manuals, videos and renders. http://westwood.cncsector.net/ It has an inno setup remake of the C&C95 theme packs too

[CnCNet] Current list of used map numbers
Nyerguds replied to Nyerguds's topic in Mapping Discussion
Can you make it list the map numbers? That's sort of the point of this list -
ShadowDog: RA terrain contains more information, like passability, inside the tile itself, and no existing editor has that implemented, so all tiles you make for RA are passable unless you fix it with hex editing. So it's really tedious business.
-
well duh, the installer I made enables the compatibility mode in the registry But as hifi already posted, his dll fixes the problem entirely without need for any special compatibility settings.
-
You shouldn't have changed the silo icon though... it just looks bad now :-\
-
The silo looks better now - it's no longer "stabs your eyes out" green
-
oh bloody hell guys, you BOTH got that quote in your sig? XD
-
that first GDI mission remake needs a Destroyer though... the C&C1 gunboat is a missile ship For the rest, the only thing that bothers me a bit is the bright green in the silos, while the tiberium on the crystals and in the refinery is yellow. Oh, and the "Longbow" icon

Tiberian Sun: Missing DLL files - tried the usual stuff -fixed-
Nyerguds replied to odyssey's topic in Tiberian Sun
It has nothing to do with missing dll files, it's purely related to user rights. iirc it's related to the retarded copy protection, and the dll it whines about is BLOWFISH.dll Mind you, if you say "as administrator", do you mean "as an administrator user" or actually "by right-clicking on the file and selecting -Run as administrator-"? There's a BIG difference. -
Ooh, nice, you made a big release of this Tiberium? There's no hex editing involved with tiberium... it's just shp files. [edit] Wait, that was acknowledgement, and not a question? Please learn to use past tense. I edited your post to fix it -_- The 3.03 patch is NOT MINE. Westwood made it. All I did was make an installer for it.

Gavin... put link to part 2 in the description @YT please. Or a link at the end of the vid -_-

[CnCNet] Current list of used map numbers
Nyerguds replied to Nyerguds's topic in Mapping Discussion
Insufficient information. [edit] Meh. I looked it up. But next time, please, map number, map name, number of players, and preferably download link. -
Badgebomb's Map Pack Version 4.0 (little fix)
Nyerguds replied to Badgebomb's topic in C&C Multiplayer Maps
Tore: that doesn't matter, does it? The positions are chosen at random from all available waypoints anyway. -

umm what? The virtual drives still require that you put disks in them. That process is called "mounting". btw, "drive" isn't the same as "driver".
-
I use Opera at home, and the web interface at work (because the irc ports are blocked there)
-
nope, he's mostly researching... but I do understand his situation. It's hard to release something if there's still bugs in it which you know of but haven't had time to fix. And then there's the fact he seems hesitant to release a patch out of fear it won't be as well-accepted as mine because he never got the hi-res working in RA.
-
Well it's just that the nocd crack in ra+ is messed up, so while you no longer need the RA CDs, it still ckecks if there's a disk in the drive. folder2iso is a simple tool to take the contents of a folder and make a CD image file from it, so if you use that to make an empty iso and mount that, the game will most probably see "a CD" and launch without any problems. If you want the full game with all videos, you'd better just not use RA+ at all, and simply install it with my guide here, and mount all 4 RA isos in your virtual CDrom drives.
-
meh. not even needed; with the folder2iso tool you can make a blank iso to use for it
