  1. If you mean spamserv...
  2. Awesome
  3. That is one offended chronosphere
  4. Donations just go to costs related to keeping cncnet online, not to people...
  5. SpamServ is a bot from GameSurge, the domain hosting the cncnet channel. It's not really part of the cncnet infrastructure. Their server, their rules, I assume.
  6. Am I the only one who saw all this mess coming from the moment people started talking about ladders? It attracts more people! Yeah. We all know what kind of people
  7. A user called "ladder". Obvious troll is obvious. Locked.
  8. Umm... there's no "wiping out" there. That's just the chronosphere acting as it should, getting ready to teleport these units.

    Full Screen fis?

    Which game?
  10. Mentos, fresh and full of death!
  11. It's funny how the research center shown in the briefing is a Soviet Tech Center
  12. Meh. I just think it's a bit useless to make a video showing how you completely waste an army with which you can wipe out the enemy base in that mission. It's like making a video of the N64 GDI special ops #1 mission where you target your first airstrike in the shroud to take out the chem lab. Sure you win the mission, but it's not really worth watching.
  13. So, I completely missed the fact this was in the Redux forum, and thought this was about the original TD mission xD Peculiar. Must be movement type related then, since the bare values in the game say 30 vs 35, in favour of the APC.
  14. Well imagine my surprise when I encountered it on a playthrough of the Nintendo 64 version, where the bug that prevents that map choice from working simply isn't there. Then imagine my surprise at finding out that this mysterious unique mission has been in the PC version's files all along O_o
  15. It was a snide remark to the developers Programs going into "not responding" while they're doing things (like, logging in here) generally means that the program is executing all the login code in the same processing thread that is already handling the user interface, meaning the user interface stops responding because that same thread is busy doing other stuff. That's perfectly avoidable by instead disabling the controls to go into a "busy status" (to prevent users from starting the login twice by clicking again) and running the actual login code on a new processing thread.
  16. APCs are only slower if they're damaged.

    red alert 2

This stuff regularly happens on the Origin version, guys. It's mostly due to compatibility modes and stuff. luca8923: Make sure to run the game in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode.
  18. They didn't "try to take credit" for that... they are recognized as being the precursor influence necessary for those games to exist. Did you forget Sole Survivor?
  19. Oil tankers. They can carry immense amount of fuel. They are definitely the best tankers; build those.
  20. Voted from the moment I saw the votes had started again
  21. About the site, about the forums, about the games, or about cncnet?
  22. You're talking about C&C1, right? These things are for making missions, not multiplayer maps. For maps, you shouldn't worry about them. Most scripting related stuff (triggers) doesn't work right in multiplayer anyway. Anyway, if you want to know what it's all about, I suggest you look through this: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cncstuff/cctxt/ccmanual.txt The BASE section is the rebuild list for the AI. You should do that stuff with a map editor; it's a mess to do it manually.
  23. I think I removed the only identical map in C&C1 with my patch. That was GDI 5EA (same as 5WA), which I replaced by the unused 5EB.
  24. No one mentioned good old tumsun yet? https://web.archive.org/web/20010202143800/http://www.tiberiumsun.com/
