  1. Nice work! Would it be possible to do gradations of fullness somehow? Or is this just the supply truck's "unloaded" and "loaded" state? These Orcas don't seem to have quite the same range as the Obelisk, though
  2. TheEwaffle: Check if there's any antivirus programs that could be blocking it. hamster: We don't distribute RA2. What you linked to is just the online play installer, and that's exactly what he's having trouble with.
  3. Try what? Removing the shroud in C&C1? I don't need any SHP editing for that
  4. That may be so, but we still don't condone, and certainly don't promote piracy
  5. Um. Not sure how that is relevant; adding a build-up animation is just a matter of adding a "????make.shp" file.
  6. FunkyFr3sh, the problem here is that TS' screenshot function dumps PCX files. I don't think imgur supports pcx images
  7. I believe Funky's RA patch actually fixes this too, by using Frank's version.
  8. The mission end video failed to record for some reason...
  9. Well, the graphics patch is just a file (ddraw.dll) dropped in the game folder, which overrides the default Windows system library the game tries to use simply by being named the same, and being in the folder, so as long as that file is in there, it will affect the game, no matter whether you run it through the cncnet client or the normal way
  10. That colour issue is easily solved with either DDWrapper or TS-DDraw, the latter of which is included in the cncnet online package for RA2/YR. As a side note, you clearly have no idea what "16-bit colour" means. It does not mean "16 colours". RA2 is always in 16-bit colour. It means each colour is saved in 2 bytes (=16 bits), meaning, practically, the game can use a whopping 65.536 different colours.
  11. ...your way of converting screenshots is to open them in some kind of "PCX viewer" and press PrintScreen? Man, download Gimp or something. Or heck, just XCC Mixer. Given the amount of stuff in Perplexity's base, though, I'm not sure if this was a runner; nothing there really seems to indicate he was losing.
  12. Menu resolution in YR is indeed 800x600, yes. I'm not exactly sure what your other problem is, though. Do you mean it just shows an 800x600 corner of your full resolution when you go ingame?
  13. Um. It's actually mentioned in this thread. As I replied in the other thread... the jukebox on Frank Klepacki's website.
  14. I really don't get how Westwood ever got the idea "hey, let's make the shroud a SHP file!" As far as I know, in C&C1 and RA1, only the edges are SHPs; the rest is just filled with black.
  15. The jukebox on Frank Klepacki's website On a related note, there is an error in the CD (and original ingame) version of the Counterstrike track "Voice Rhythm 2" (at 3:47), and that's actually fixed in the version on Frank's website, too.
  16. Well I assume he wouldn't go for cracks if he was so concerned about legality of installing it on a public computer in the first place
  17. It's a Windows update. http://myonlinesecurity.co.uk/september-2015-windows-updates-kb3086255-breaks-many-games/
  18. Isn't RA2 affected by that safedisc/securom disabling update too?
  19. Ah... well, if it's consistent in the other units too I guess it won't be too obtrusive.
  20. "Access denied" might imply some temp file or some file that's been written to some temp folder but not yet moved to its final location is blocked by antivirus software before the installer's done with it. It happens; antivirus programs are notoriously overzealous when it comes to that.
  21. Still won't get rid of the Origin requirement of the Origin version though.
  22. Captured CYs never give a new engineer, no, probably to prevent you from severely crippling a base with a single engineer by taking out two structures in a row. Mind you, destroying the CY might give you engineers. Not sure if the logics behind that keep the captured status in mind. But not with Tanya; she leaves no survivors
  23. Hmm. These "cloudme" links redirect to a bare folder now instead of straight to the download. Did they change their download url format or something?
