  1. I tried to download your file to see if I could tinker with it on RAED myself but it's giving me a error... Try to re-upload it maybe? Edit:I fixed it by shortening the file name. It turns out RAED cannot load maps with very long file names.
  2. If tanks are getting stuck outside the map then aren't you using a 126x126 map? If so try reducing team types to smaller amount of tanks. I usually get reinforcement problems on large maps like that and use smaller separate reinforcements rather then one large team. I don't know about the others yet.

The Chronosphere's charge up sound has a high pitch whine similar to the Junkers Ju 87's siren which is a very old stock sound effect used many times in many cartoons and shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCB8ZVxKqyI The start of 0:27 kind of sounds like the charge up but either somebody at WW or whoever they bought the sound effects from touched it up. But really I don't know.

  5. Nyerguds really needs to fix reinforced weaponless Gun Boats so custom missions can do this.
  6. Speaking of quality I never understand why Frank Klepacki never gives us a complete soundtrack for all the C&C games he composed for, especially the Red Alert soundtrack CD that didn't even include Fogger!
  7. I'm no good at balancing and don't have much to contribute but it would be nice to somewhat give GDI more early game protection and give Nod better late game protection like stronger light tanks or something. Just have Nod still rely on numbers and fast units to win.
  8. Just a suggestion but it would be nice to have a new C&C95 theme that looks like the old C&C Communication Center forum this has replaced.

  10. Every time I try to download it says ''Failed'' and can't use it. O_o
  11. The mod I used was made for a older version like 1.08 but I tried to tweak it to work for 1.12 and the mod works in a sense that I can go in-game and build it but after the second Tesla Tank the game crashes.
  12. Oops, i re-checked but I in fact have 1.12 which is a official patch isn't it?

I tried downloading mods that enable it but they crash on version 1.12 and after that I downloaded the modding SDK kit with a 4 row sidebar to make the Tesla Tank fit and I'm completely lost on that with no experience. So does anyone know how to do this and make it work for me and anyone else who would like that? I would greatly appreciate it!

  18. Honestly unless your connection is slow I never had troubles downloading full installs without movies. In other words isn't there a option to download SP stuff?
  19. Off topic but I always wondered if Westwood used a editor built inside C&C/RA1 for mission/mp map making. I know what they used allowed them to place terrain without clearance check unlike edwin.
  20. On PS1 Red Alert the vortex was huge black rainbow like effect that I use to mistake for color burn on my CRT television. XD
  21. I guess they thought the helicopters needed their own icon and the ability to fire super weapons are placed inside the super weapon icon... Also PS1 Red Alert Retaliation was my first C&C game along with the N64 version of TD... Though very outdated I always go back to them. <3
  22. In the offical maps the briefings are near bottom but RA1 doesn't seem to care how I organize my stuff thru RAED except maybe editing the units though the mission often plays just fine. Also I like how if you made the briefing really long you will get a ''Next'' button which is odd since no official mission briefing is long enough for you do that.
  23. That seemed to of fixed most of my problems and made the game playable! But something else came up after I patched it. During a skirmish the game would rarely freeze but you can still hear it continuing thru the sound... I do not know what triggers it but one time it happened soon after I started the game and then it happened much later in another one. Earlier I randomly got a CTD somehow but no explanation to that.
  24. Sorry for the double post but I tried playing Tiberian Sun on a Windows 8.1 laptop and have the same problem with invisible menus after I press a button in the main menu...
  25. Counterstrike was always my personal favorite expansion... The one mission I always played way back on PS1 was Legecy of Tesla. I always thought my base looked so cool and just sat there intill the Nuke Bomber destroyed me. XD Speaking of the ''new units'' In the Fresh Tracks mission I find it strange that Westwood named the longbow ''F-A Longbow'' gave it 10 laser guided rockets instead of 5 heat seeking ones plus it's very fast and it's not even mentioned in briefing or anything.
