I didn't mean a .aud I meant the whole mix file and it works fine lol. Nice work on recreating the GDI commando mission, that was almost nostalgic. It was annoying where your commando had a risk of randomly dying if he blew up a building...

ah yes NOD 11. THAT mission that drove me insane the first time I tried it.... --------------------------------------------------------- Would it work if I simply pasted your sound files into a normal red alert directory?, I don't see why it shouldn't. --------------------------------------------------------- Finally I noticed from your briefings and stuff have a few spelling/grammatical errors, I appreciate that English may not be your first language and If you like I can go through the files and correct them for you.

Once I had destroyed that side base I built an mcv and built a new base by the crapload of tiberium outside it that funded me enough for a mega army to mop up. Also I finished the GDI campaign took me about 1 and a half hours for the last mission alone... but I did manage to destroy more than 1300 of NOD's units stealing NOD conyard was key because then I could build nukes/obelisks/sams very tedious battle. EDIT (sometime later) How do we get the ant missions to work? I keep being attacked by stealth tanks EDIT 2: That was me being a moron.... Awesome stuff though

thats the last one isn't it? I spent ages NOT building tanks, so I had funds spare for subs and replacing obelisks. I Placed 3 obelisks along the rocky ridge next to the huge tiberium field, with 2 or 3 sam sites. I used missile subs to destroy the beach entrance to the base closest to you then flanked them with tanks, destroying the production structures and then sending a second wave to mop up. From that point, with the aid of missile subs, things got really easy.

the redalert 1 online download has no missions. try http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/

yes. I think on 8a the ore Tiberium is much harder to get to than on 8b, making it much easier. Also all the missions after about 10 were easy but long. I finished it NOD losses: 128 GDI losses: 729 NOD buildings Lost: 24 GDI buildings Lost: 159 Score: 43315 I think I won It was fairly simple really, once the nearby base had been destroyed it got very easy.

Downloaded Red dawn, looks awesome. I would've used the Heavy tank as an advanced NOD tank, rather than leave them with light tanks vs mammoths. I have raged no less than 3 times trying to beat NOD 7... and still haven't.... there is too much stuff to shoot! stupid obelisks need to target tanks rather than the damn infantry. EDIT: it was Nod 8a EDIT 2: 8b is a lot easier than 8a EDIT 3: Giving us apaches on nod 9 made it far too easy lol, just go and chase the truck as it tries to escape from your base

It was an .aud file I renamed the .aud files so RA used them, as they were extracted from TD itself I renamed the .mix file but that shouldn't cause a problem
-
I put it into a sc-eva like your TS write-over I renamed the files to the ones in there, assuming that's what they needed to be.
-
dang. I guess that means Iron Curtain is too... What about, for example, parabombs?
-
yes that's what I have done. weird.

f8 to chat to all f1-f7 privately to players type something then press enter

if you host you can see if aftermath is on or not, though it would be nice if players could also see. assuming you're not playing aftermath, if you need silos it means you're not building stuff fast enough (though on infinite money maps its best to ignore him anyway) Stuff can't be built for humans by the AI and there is no object queuing, you just need to learn to click shizzle faster.

I made a collection of the convertible sounds files, but when I try to apply it it does not work... do ALL speech files need to be compensated for or can a few be added with gaps left around? EDIT: when renaming it to speech .mix NO speech is produced... interesting
-
oh. So currently its just a gimmick?
-
ah yes of course. very nice job with the TS eva though
-
that's awesome. from TD what files were missing though? (I can think of Spy Plane)
-
thats not very helpful I already made the mod, it is simple and made form Rules.ini and Aftermth.ini with unit properties changed where they needed it, which is what I want rather than having to distribute another version of RA to my friends... I was just wondering if EVA could be moved, thats it really.
-
You need to remove the comma from the URL link Still, always wanted to look at sole survivor at least, seemed an interesting idea to me.
-
Sure I have not heard many say this, but is it possible to get the EVA from Tiberian Dawn on Red Alert? I much preferred it and would go awesomely with my crude 'mod' that turns Red Alert into something like Tiberian Dawn...
-
That looks amazing. Can't wait for cncnet5
-
I'm sure this question has been asked already, but how does a normal red alert read a desert map?
-
ah thank you very much I never noticed that lol
-
@ #97 I have never seen this tile, could someone point it out?

I have had a thought whilst making a red alert scenario, is it possible to change the faction that a nation applies to this could have a use in scg11ea and eb where blowing up the brown structures to allow your ships to pass through counts as an allied structure lost. Maybe if Turkey (or other nation in other scenarios) in that scenario (or in any scenario) could be changed to represent the soviets then it can allow more combinations for (blowing up soviet stuff in missions) as you get a higher choice of countries you could use to simulate a soviet building lost (rather than Just USSR,BadGuy,Ukraine and occasionally Multi3 i have used) It seems like a simple idea that could work like this: [Nation] Faction=Soviet (or Faction=Allies) Is this possible?
