I am having the same issue. However, the error occurs during installation of cncnet.  I have uninstalled both cncnet and ra2 and re-installed multiple times resulting in the same error during reinstall of cnc net.  Have tried reinstalling on different drives and cleaned out temp files with no success.  below is the clientlog.

This appears to be resolution dependent, I have had no problem until I added my 5120x1440 monitor as my main screen. If I go back to the 2560x1400 monitor as my main screen then there is no problem.

 

Looks like a resolution bug.
